Lacey have the supplliers banded together to try and work towards a media campaign? I am sure if there were a fund that many of us would donate to that. I have written my congresswoman and emailed the gov in CA etc. but I reallly think a media campaign would be more effective,,,, ECF? I see you guys are getting organized.

We do have the ECA Electronic Cigarette Association. And I can tell you first hand, they have reached out to every media outlet they can. I know they are working on all of the shows, news, etc that are mentioned on the forum. Half the time I go to them and say "ECF members want us on Oprah..." and the response... "Working on it... Contacted X... waiting... will follow up".

It just takes time. Unfortunately, most news doesn't see this as an emergency. We do. They don't. It's kind of like when we as consumers send in our letters to the FDA and MONTHS later we get a canned response.

There has been a ramping of ECA in the news though lately, so the efforts that were started on the media front back in April/May are paying off. The ECA is getting quoted in more and more papers and pretty soon, I am confident we will see some higher end coverage.
