After 40+ years smoking the nasties, 1 year and half (almost) of "futzin around" with carts, carto's, atty's, tons of mods, it's finally time to settle down with the "best of the crop".

After a while you get tired of constantly fiddling with the e-cig stuff. Nothing seems to work right of out the box, always needs some sort of modding. Modding = Futzin = Wasting time

These drip cartos are ready right out of the box, so they take the number 1 spot.

I'll continue to try new things (it's e-cig fever) because I don't ever intend to go back to the stinky analogs.

When I started e-cigs I never intended to quit smoking, just supplement (spend less money ) but it turned out that I liked e-cigs more than the real smokes. Needless to say, my family support my e-cig habit 100%.

Thank you Isaac for taking the initiative to improve our vaping experience. You've help take the "bar" to a higher level!

I asked him about Infinity and what I want it do and he just smirked and said, it's very simple. So I took it to the next level of thought on a unit that will read your atomizer's resistance and produce the set voltage, his reply was the same "simple".

Soa re you thinking of going with a "select a wattage" kind of system? This would be amazing. If it did this in real-time the hits would be consistently awesome. Good luck with your project.

Well the RY4 carto survived its cleaning procedure and is performing almost like new again, read 90% capacity.

The method worked quite well maintaining the looseness in the batting. The draw got slightly stiffer and somewhat expected, but not stiff. I hope folks can understand how I describe things. A quantitative number could be used but there are other factors involved here. e.g. the coil itself.

I let it dry for 48 hrs + and filled it up. It accepted a charge similar to an initial charge 28 vice 30 drops, which is also to be expected. The first couple of pulls, a certain harshness was sensed. This dissipated on the 3rd or 4th pull and is no longer apparent or a factor.

All the assessment factors remain unchanged and have only diminished slightly, which is also to be expected. Why? A carto was designed for one fill and possibly a refill or two. This carto has been exposed to a high concentration of sugars, which as we know will coat and reduce the performance of the coil. Dry burning cartos is not advisable, and hence not carried out. Since its bath, it has been topped off at least 8-10 times, and is still providing great results at 3.7V. Today I moved it up to 4.2V to finish it off. I will not be washing this carto again. Not because it can't be washed again, but because I don't normally do and I know the coil is carboned up. It has served me well considering the liquid used and will finally be laid to rest when it quits performing.

Considering this was my first review with an all VG base fluid, I was quite surprised that they have performed this well. The BB Menthol is still going strong and no signs of letting up after a week of use. VG users will be pleased with these. Their is a caveat though for VG users, your liquid needs to be free flowing, which mine are.

It is still providing clouds of vapour at 4.2V but has stiffened up once again. The flavour remains unchanged. The batting is not readily accepting the liquid as freely as the other. Once again I stress this is purely liquid related and not the carto perse.

I am on day 2 after its bath. The BBM is still performing well at 3.7V.

These cartos work extremly well, work right out the box and have a great draw, lots of vapor, i dont get a funky filler taste so thats a plus.

only issues on mine is that its extra loud, filling needs to be done properly or leaking can occur but thats not the cartos fault, the only performance issue i had was after a while the taste seems muted, its still has flavor but its muted , it comes back alittle with more juice but not as pronounced as when the carto was first filled.

I managed to kill one. It's my own fault. I overtightened an adapter and shorted it. :(

I guess thats what I did too because I had one that was shorted from the get go. I also had my first 510 gold short out after a few puffs. I don't know what happened. At first I thought it was my Buzz because they went out back to back. first one then I tried the 510 and it too. I'm using a 510 gold now and loving it. I mean all things go bad (well except me) but the coincidence of both was weird. It took a while to figure it out.

My fusions are flawless though so far.

Wait Angus, 5Card, was this from tightening the center pin of the cartomizer?

No, on the 510 i was from using an adapter but I'm using the same adapter on the same carto and purposely tightening it down with no problem. I remember looking at that carto and thinking the o ring looked funny but thought thats just how they were. Since I re-installed the o ring in that same carto it works fine. I think it just wasn't in all the way. On the drip tip it never had one because it never worked right or else I knocked it out some how. The thing is that both were just secluded incidents. There is nothing wrong with the design of either.
I think there was a reason the drip tip was messed up. I have used the drip tip off of it on all the cartos. The megas, the fusions and the 510 and I didn't have one so it all worked out for the good my friend. I know how you worry about your products but like I said this was an isolated incident and I haven't encountered it before or since.

Switch is right on the center post and I always pull mine straight out on any vendors carto. The adapters I turn but the cartos will, as he said, break the wire at the solder.

Ahh Thanks guys.
Ok then resting partially easy isn't a problem. Partially because, I really don't want anyone having anything that's broken. I was just reading about Born and feel the absolute need to remedy it. So, I have the new beta products here, so this batch won't contain the replacements, but by the next time, I should have them.

When are you expecting the drip tip cartos to be in stock? Really wanted to give them a try but missed the Thanksgiving day sale which wiped the whole inventory out.
Haha yes Black Friday just obliterated the stock. The good news is that the 808 Mega's in Stainless and black and the Mini 801 LR and HV atoms both finally came in yesterday and are going through testing phases. The order for the V2 Drip style with and without drip tips has been placed on the 26th and I'm certain the production is nearing completion. This manufacture in particular has every fast shipping so once the tracking number is given, we're only looking at a couple days for retrieval.

I've been playing with the new drip-style 510 cartos for over a week now and I am impressed. The flavor is impeccable for a cartomizer; my ejuices taste nice, crisp and clean. The vapor production and TH are just as I like them. I've been using them on my eGo and they are surprisingly smooth and mellow for 2.5Ω cartos. The one I'm vaping right now has vaporized at least 5-6 ml of my 'houseblend' (Drewbacco1 mixed with VS Tampa) and is still going strong. No signs of flavor deterioration or diminished vapor production; however, the draw has tightened a little bit. Normally, 6 ml is just about my limit. Disposable cartos were not designed to handle more than that amount, IMO. I know that crud is beginning to caramelize on the coil and I'll have to decide whether to just toss it or give it an overnight soak in vodka... :)

The only thing I'm not crazy about is the drip tip. I know, this is the main attraction, sorry, but I don't really care for it. It's metal, and I don't like metal DTs; they feel cold and slippery on my lips. Besides, functionally, a DT on a carto makes very little sense. One can't drip into a center tube of a cartomizer; as a matter of fact, one mustn't do this. So the DT needs to be removed for topping off anyway. I actually replaced my DT with a plain rubber soft tip from another cartomizer and found the vape to be much nicer and warmer, at least on my eGo. I understand that this may not be the case with higher voltages, but I would still prefer a Delrin DT if I were to use these cartos on 3.7-4v.

I am very happy, Isaac, that you are going to offer these without the drip tips as an option. Makes a lot of sense, at least to me.

And now, if you excuse me, I have to decide what to do with that shot glass of Finlandia...

Glad you are enjoying them. Wrt the drippers, in my review I made the recommendation for same construction, sans drip tip. Hopefully we can see those.

As you, I don't like washing cartos. I washed the RY4 dripper and it was alright, but now I know why I don't wash cartos. I am just to fussy when it comes to performance and taste to bother.
