Mega Attys & Cartridges - Any tips & tricks?

I stopped using all of my pen style e-cigs and just use my mega atty with cartridge.

I went from kr cartoz to this and did not look back because of the battery life and less often refills.

It looks like there is black gunk inside the battery connector below the threading and the same inside the atty.

It seems to perform alot better when I blow out the atty but it seems like I need to do that very often lately.

Are there any good cart mods that are easy to do?

I have not used the mega carts yet but seem like at least a few of the regular cart mod can work if the material is resized. You can check here if you have not already done so Cartridge Mods - E-Cigarette Forum hope that helps.
