Mega battery question

Just received my first Mega battery. It looks exactly like the regular ego batteries.

Question- is that right? How do I know if the vendor just shipped a regular battery?

I have a 1000mah battery from Totaly Wicked and it's 3.8" long. My 900mah battery is 3.4" long. Where my regular battery is 2.8" long.

How long is the battery you just got?

The Mega battery should be the same voltage as the regular, but with more power right?

Seems like it is sizzling-up my LR carto.

Simply put, a Mega eGo battery is just like a bigger gas tank in your car. It doesn't give you more power or make your car go faster. Just run longer.

If the battery you received is 2.8" long than it sounds like they sent you a regular sized battery instead of a Mega.

BTW - One of my "Mega" batteries came from LiteCigUSA. It is 3.4" long. The nice thing is that LiteCigUSA has a nice return policy.

That is correct. The standard can sustain a 0.65A load while the mega can sustain a 1A load, giving a C rating of 1.

That is what I like about dealing with LiteCigUSA. They don't freak out over returns. And when they make a mistake, they do what it takes to make it right.
