Mega Dual Coil Cartomizers...

Hey everyone, anyone used a Mega Dual Coil Cartomizer? Any advice, I hear if you don't let it sit for at least an hour it will burn then your screwed never get rid of the burnt taste. Any other advice? I hear these things are insane!

If you're talking about the eGo Mega Dual Coil Carto, then I can tell you first hand that you heard incorrectly. I let mine soak for about 15-30 minutes before I vape them if they're new.

Hey Pedro, yeah, they do definitely rock and I would echo Carpedebass, 15 to 30 minutes should do it, I probably err towards 30 minutes on a first fill, and shake em a few times between fills... they take a lot of juice first time around and they kinda surprised me at first how much they take! An you are correct, if you burn a carto before it is completely wet you will get a burnt taste forever We've all done it at some time

What ecig do you have Pedro? Cartos under 2.5 ohms are not meant for slim ecigs. You could damage the battery.

I use something called the taryne (sp?) Spin, My mother has a sewing machine, so I asked her to make me one, I have to ask her to make me a Bigger one now. I think I'll do it with Mega DCC since they are a Carto. Worked awesome!

I have a 900 Mah Screw Driver Mod, with a 510 connection, I bought a 510 Mega DCC with a 510 Connection from Madvapes, I also got a regular Mega DCC for my girlfriends EGO T. Hers is 1000 MAH, she will be getting the Chuck I ordered her any day now, which will be 3000 Mah. I think we will be good.

You may want a 510-eGo adapter. The EMDCCs have a skirt that goes over the threads on an eGo.

These cartos don't actually screw on to the cone threads, though, so a shorty 510-510 adapter could work too. Haven't tried it myself.

I actually was given a Mega Dual Coil by a friend and it was amazing. Presently using Boge 510 Cartomizers but I immediately ordered 30 Megas. In my research there was a Vaper who fills his Megas with a syringe. Don't have the bookmark as I'm on my IPhone. He filled a syringe, poked it down the side of the stuffing to the bottom of the Cartomizer and then while pushing down on the syringe slowly pulled the entire syringe slowly out of the Cartomizer. He repeated this procedure on all 4 sides of the Cartomizer. This way the Juice is filled fully at the bottom. Apparently he could fill 5 Cartomizers in 5 minutes and they were immediately ready for use.

I use them on my eGo and my Silver Bullet with an adapter. By far the best cartos I have ever used. Tons of vapor and they last more than two weeks.

Haven't read the whole thread yet but... I just got mine in the mail two days ago and love them! I like my ego tanks but these certainly are nice. I also have the go-go and when I first tried it I didn't let the carto sit for awhile after filling, and yes... it sucked. Now that I know how to fill and use them I really really like them.

You can try using a modified condom method for filling the mega dual coil cartos and avoid having dry filler in the middle of the carto which creates the dreaded burn. Put about 15-20 drops of e-liquid into one of the carto condoms, pop off the soft cap of the carto and put aside. Push carto battery thread side down into the condom, wait a few seconds, and remove the condom. You will probably have a few drops left in the condom, and that's ok. Next, put about 15-20 drops of e-liquid into the condom again, and push the carto into the liquid from the open end, wait a few seconds and remove the condom. Now look at the filler in the carto. If it does not look slushy, drip more e-liquid into the open end (avoiding the air hole in the middle) until the filler looks slushy. Gently blow any excess liquid in the air hole out of the carto, wipe the carto - especially the threads - replace the cap onto the open end and vape. I've not had a burnt mega carto yet.

Also, because these cartos blow through a lot of juice, make sure you top off the carto every so often. As long as you keep these cartos moist, they will last a long time.
