To Uma and Vaps,

I found VK's response to day under a different heading on their forum. I had to go thru the rigamaroll of going on the website, doing a few things,etc. Had to go in my spam mail box to retrieve his message...what a pain...
VK at least said to send them back for a refund...so I guess all's well that ends well

I ordered another 5 pack, but from Cignot, I've bought from them almost exclusively for over a year, but I believe now it will be completely exclusively...

Whew! I'm so glad this was resolved satisfactorally for both of you! What a pia to have to go through this though. Well, at least now both stores know that their previous supplier might need a closer eye and at least you guys finally get some replacements that will hopefully be good quality like we expect and deserve. They are out there, mine are living proof of that. (knock on wood). Glad it all worked out. Especially with the Holidays and all the extra chores and travelling to be done, these cartos give us a lot more time on our hands. they're worth it.

I absolutely LOVE the XL eGo Cartos once I learned exactly how to fill them! I would recommend you watch this video, and try them again.
