So had my little bag of E-smokes get a litte wet on a jeep ride last night and left them out in my garage to dry up some. I smelled a burning smell and found a carto still screwed into my batty melted it was an auto batty i recharged it it seems to work fine now. Any one else had this problem and do you think my battys still ok

Man, are you lucky! I had this happen on my first manual PT - within no longer than 60 seconds the carto was melting my mouse! The PT worked for a very brief time after that.

If the batteries are the same, you're batt, unfortunately, will go and need to replaced.

If you only have one batt, I would only use it in the meantime, when you are fully awake and able to unscrew the carto from it immediately after using it. I'd also keep it in a metal container til you decide to throw it out, away from anything flammable. Like bliynd said, you're probably safer just safely disposing it and getting another one, though. Catch a couple during a sale and it's twice as worth it.

(I got no offers on my broken batts(they just stopped holding a charge) on the trade forum, though I heard PT's w/shorts can be rewired so I'm guessing the batts can't be fixed)

Be careful!
