Does anyone have problems w/ their Buzz melting cartridges? I have had my Buzz over a week (love it!) but yesterday noticed it was melting the plastic of carts. I don't have a voltmeter, but usually leave it around the factory preset (approx 4.7V, right?). Even at its highest it still shouldn't melt carts, should it? The attys I am using do not say LR, but I do have some regulars and LRs so I'm not positive if I'm using a regular atty or LR. Any help is appreciated.

tried to post a pic of the cart.s but just showed up as a box w/ a "?" in it.

First off look on the very bottom of your Atty's they should have an LR on the bottom of the LR's or be market differently and if you put the one your using on a reg 3.7 Battery you will know right away if it is an LR or NOT. Secondly yes if your running cartos and have your voltage set to high or even running an Atty to high it will burn the cart or carto, it will melt the end of it if your to high and also give off a funky taste in your vape. Best bet (grab a volt meter) you can get one at deal xtreme for $3 and its a great tool to have if you vape. Hope that helps

Thanks, everyone, for your answers. Icoth, I am not being careful to line the atty up w/ the cart because I never had a problem on my RIVA battery. I'll try to be more aware of that. I am going to get a volt meter, just haven't got around to it yet. I'm switching attys around on it, using different ones to try new flavors, so it could be that they are melting with the LR attys. Thanks again for all of your comments.

doesn't the vapor feel way too hot when you are pumping enough watts/smoke into those carts to soften the plastic?

No, I didn't notice the vapor getting too warm. But occasionally I would get a very nasty, burned tasting vape. At first I thought I was just vaping it too dry. Now I know. . .
I'm thinking about trying cartomizers. Any suggestions for a 510 connection from those of you who use cartos?

i thought that's what you were melting?
well...........not 'easy', fill with a needle, take out rubber rings then put back in after filling. hold almost a day full, it's worth a try, none of this is 'plug and play'.
Did you get a meter and did you get the "clippie wire thingie" to screw on your buzz? anything digital, cheaper the better.
