for 510 carts i drip and use ptb and polyfill
looked at my carts and the botton parts looked
jagged like they are melting.
is that normal for them to look that way ?
or are they really melting ?
if so analogs are looking better for me ?
First, Ecigs aren't for everyone. Second, it is possible that the top edge of the cartridge is getting too close to the atomizer bridge. This almost always a result of an atomizer bridge (the hump inside the atty chamber that is covered in metal mesh) being off center. When that is the case I take a round toothpick and nudge the bridge over toward the center - you have to be careful and you might just want to send it back to the vendor or contact them for instructions in case you break something. But a slight nudging is usually all that is needed.
I find that once the bridge and metal mesh is centered there is no more problems and you should always check that with new atomizers before firing it up.
There is another suggestions that others have put forth - alignment. This is where you have a cartridge that has 2 flat sides and two rounded sides and the idea is to see how the head of the bridge is shaped and align it so that it best fits the sides of the cart and is less likely to come in contact.
If for some reason this does not work for you, another solution would be to 'drip' using a 'shipping cartridge' that may have come with your atomizers - if not, they are available at vendors - just ask. A shipping cartridge has no 'internals' no flat sides and those are the ones that usually are affected. So dripping directly on the atomizer is another solution.
