Member names

I notice that some member's names appear in red (on my browser, anyway). Examples can be seen by looking at the bottom of the 'FORUMS' page (http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/forum.php) under What's Going ON?>Currently Active Users. Wondering what's the significance in this?

I think the bright red ones are admin; purple are supporting members, maroon are ecf veterans... and forum moderators have their own color too, but at the moment I can't remember what it is.

Red names are admins. Maroon names are ECF Veterans (been a member 1+ years). Other ECF Staff members (moderators) will show as green or teal.

The default username color for regular members varies depending on which forum skin you are using: blue in some, red in some, orange in one of them.

To the OP (or anyone else interested): If you have multiple usergroups available to you (regular user/ECF Veteran/Supporting member) then you can choose which color to display your name as. Go to Settings ---> Permission Groups and you'll find the option to change it (default color/maroon/light purple, respectively) ;-)
