I noticed a member with an asterisk after their status title (e.g., "Super Member*"). It is not a supporting member, so it is not a self-assigned title. What does the asterisk designate?

After reading a few threads regarding this very question, I believe the asterisk means that the person who posted had their settings set to invisible at the time.
I think what VapingTurtle is asking is about the Asterisk next to the Status. You have one next to your Status but no one else does.

The asterisk after the title means one of two things. Either the member (supporting members only) put it there as a decoration, or management has put it there in order to monitor the member's activity.
I know two people who have the management issued asterisk, it doesn't necessarily mean that they are in trouble.

No, it's not Zoid or Lis, LOL, the reasons for the asterisks are classified. It makes sense too, there is no reason for management to explain to the forum why a member has an asterisk, that is between them and the member.
When the asterisks first appeared we had questions about them, like the questions being asked on this thread. Management was silent, but there have been a few leaks. It's inevitable, I guess.
