This is a review of all the menthol flavors/juices I've tried. Also asking for yours...

Into: My first introduction to e-cigs came about a month ago in a liquor store when I bought the Zero vape Menthol disposable. It was had a good menthol taste and I quickly realized I could easily reduce the number of analogs I smoked in a day. That was the good news. The bad news was this unit is completely disposable and could not be refilled or recharged. This began an almost month long quest to find the perfect menthol (at least for me as a menthol smoker). This post lists the results of my search, both good and bad. I would appreciate replies of other menthol smokers/vapors with similar reviews.

MENTHOL reviews (brand, source, rating up to 5 smileys, comments):

Zero Vape Menthol disposible - local liquor store - :D:D:D:D:D - Great menthol flavor, but expensive at $7 a pop.

Menthol 510 Disposable E-Cig Kit - Madvapes - :(:( - Minty, not Menthol, plus dangerous battery (see http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/new-members-forum/329907-510-battery-meltdown.html)

Dekang Menthol (24mg) - MadVapes -:confused::confused: - Close, but still a little minty. It was suggested to mix 50/50 with Dekang 3&5 (24mg) for a close to menthol cigarette taste. I found 70% menthol better, but still not quite menthol. Decent price ($11 for 50 ml), but higher than DIY liquid.

Coles E-Juice, Menthol Ice - Colorado E-Smokes - ;);-);-);-) - A good menthol, but pricey ($20 for 15 ml).

Spokane Super Sauce (Menthol) - Smokers City - :p - Really strange. There's menthol in there instead of mint, but I have no idea what it's mixed with.

Koolada Cooling (flavor for DIY) - ecigExpress - :):):) - Not really a menthol, but provides the sensation without any taste (as advertised). Good for giving a menthol like kick to any flavor without changing it. A little weak in potency.

Menthol (flavor for DIY)- ecigExpress - :D:D:D:D:D - Very good menthol flavor and very strong. Used my standard 18% mix with the juice calculator and I need to cut that back (don't need to waste it). $3.49 for 10 ml. My next purchase will be $5.49 for 30 ml.

Menthol (18mg) - Cignot - ;);-);-);-) - Not bad with just a hint of mint. Came in the pre-filled tanks when I purchased the Joye eGo-C - Type B KIT from Cignot. Can't complain about a total of 10 ml of free menthol liquid.

I've been smoking menthol analogs for over 40 years, so it was essential to find a good replacement so I could completely stop. I would appreciate any replys about MENTHOL juices and additives others have found - good or bad.

Velvet Vapors..Menthol Ice....

I assume this is probably the same as the Coles E-Juice, Menthol Ice I tried. Significantly better price (twice as much for less $) as a store bought liquid, but more than double the price of my DIY menthol from ecigExpress. It still goes on my list for consideration. Thanks hfm.

I've tried SO Many and so few make the "keeper list."
Lots of lackluster menthols out there... disappointments really... here are some sure winners... (the puresmoker one excluded... i like it, but it's an acquired taste... )

my favs:
Vaporcast... the kings of menthol... they all rock. try prothol... possibly the best non-tobacco menthol on the market. http://www.vaporcaststore.com/products/ProThol.html

TW: patriot line: patti's wicked mint/menthol ice... http://www.totallywicked-eliquid.co...0ml-totally-wicked-patriot-range-product.html
Aroma - P-38: http://www.aromaejuice.com/Flavoured-Eliquid-with-Whole-Tobacco-Alkaloid-WTA_c33.htm

a 40 year smoker might really like and need: puresmoker's SILVER LEAF MENTHOL... (strong tobacco, strong menthol, sweet finish) if nothing else does the trick, this will. nothing else like this one... pungent and memorable. the chuck norris of menthols. http://www.puresmoker.com/product_p/tonicslmenthol.htm

Halo... any of the Halo menthols... they are all very very good. http://www.halocigs.com/e-liquid/eliquid.html

also... not sure what your vaping on... but 5 volts might be essential for you... after 40 years of smoking, you'll need a bit of power. http://www.vaprlife.com

I use a 5 volt device from vaprlife with either ikenvape 2.5-3.5 atties or 801 fusion cartomizers from IKENVAPE... http://www.ikenvape.com/Default.asp

a good drip tip is not a hoax either... get yourself one of these... they pack a punch and do the trick:
TANBUR: ...the best $20 I ever spent on vaping.

I USE to LOVE mr.e-liquids menthol, I'm trying to figure out if they changed the recipe, or maybe my tastebuds have changed... It's still their #1 seller, strong menthol, but not over powering, but the last 2 bottles I bought tasted more "Vicks" like to me. Still trying to figure that one out, it WAS my all day vape! So I guess the hunt is on for me also, I tried halo true pure when I first started vaping, hated it, maybe their menthol ice is worth a shot?

One thing mr.eliquid does have, is piña colada ice, absolutely amazing, hasn't changed yet lol

I can't even count how many bottles of Halo Menthol Ice I've gone through ...

I'm guessing the Halo Menthol Ice is probably derived from the same flavor extract as my Coles E-juice Menthol Ice (which is rather good).

... maybe my tastebuds have changed ...

I understand that. I had an e-liquid which sucked when I started and it became tolerable as analogs became less desirable. Conversely, I had a recipe which used to taste better when I started.

I have had a hard time finding a good or heaven forbid a great menthol tobacco flavor. The Totally Wicked gold label and red label menthol DIY juices are bad. Especially the red label which has a cheap, bitter menthol. TW's tobacco e-liquid is good though.

The Aromaejuices P-38 is pretty bad. Its got that extra tobacco alkaloids added to it, and it tastes like chemicals. Smells like it to! That stuff is ridiculously expensive at like $13.99 for only 10ml!

But, Aromaejuice's Nuport menthol tobacco is pretty good, and I use it for my DIY e-liquid blends, but just a little.

Plume Room's Newport is pretty good. Its got a complex flavor to it.

Joogler Juice's Smooth Menthol is pretty bad, but they went out of business just days after I got my order anyway!

Halo's Ice menthol will be liked by many, but its menthol flavor is too strong for me.

I need to add another smiley (;);););)) to this one because it came in really handy this week. My Coconut and Pandan extracts are a bit mild and the Koolada Cooling added the perfect menthol type kick without messing up the flavor. This is now an essential tool in my DIY supplies. I'd give it 5 smileys, but it's really not menthol.

First off, a couple of questions. Do you want a wintergreen, spearmint, peppermint flavor to your liquid? Plain Mint? Plain Menthol?

These are DIY flavorings that I've found to be the best:

Wintergreen-Flavor West
Spearmint-Flavor West
Peppermint-The Flavor Apprentice
Mint-Cool Mint by Capellas (my pretty much all day flavor)
Menthol-There are 2 by The Flavor Apprentice, one in PG, one in alcohol. I use the alcohol one for more oomph
Doublemint-Flavor West

I have them all and make a variety of flavors and intensity to suit my moods.

Hope this helps :)
