Menthol chrystals

Hi could somebody let me know if it's safe to put a pinch of menthol chrystals into my e liquid . I have just tried it and it tastes good just wondering if it is safe . Thanks for any replies

I have read where folks on ecf have done this. What I remember reading is to start with less, because you can always add more. Menthol is 98% of my vaping. Enjoy!

My vape is just PG + menthol. Little of any other flavor. So, yes, it's safe.

However, I use menthol drops since they're easier to measure and get a consistent amount.

Does it end up feeling like a Halls cough drop w/o the sugar? Like inhaling Vicks Vap-o-Rub? Dooooo want...
I don't think I have a nicotine addiction. I'm addicted to menthol.

I make up a 10 ml bottle of very concentrated menthol crystals in whiskey... hey, its whats at hand I add a few drops or more as needed to anything that seems like it will benefit. Be careful handling the raw menthol crystals, wear gloves or wash hands well after.

I was reading that full service pharmacies typically carry it.. but I called a few pharmacies in town, none carried it (Walmart, a couple safeways, a couple king soopers (aka city market aka kroger), walgreens, rite aid). Then I went to good day pharmacy, they told me they have it but "can't sell it to me without a prescription" - what a crock. The ebay vendors seem to be the cheapest. I'm going to get 2oz from them for about $7 with 'free shipping'.

Does anyone know the status of menthol crystals with the FDA? I can't find anything about it anywhere.. all i seem to be able to find is that proposed ban on menthol cigarettes..

I bought some crystals on ebat yesterday and some pg nicotine from Nicvape (50% sale). I guess I will buy some vg at store.

People on this board use menthol crystals quite often, and none of them report any problems that I have seen. Personally, I enjoy menthol every now and then...It's good for the sinuses!

I have a bag of menthol that I use to bump the flavor when I buy some liquids that are a little light on flavor.

I got a bag of menthol, it's pretty nice. although, last night it got very cold in my house and the menthol that was dissolved decided to solidify in my juice (the juice is about 80% vg). Just had to warm it up and shake it. (yes, it made a conscious decision to solidify )

Some of the ecig supply places carry menthol crystals.

I pre-disolve mine in whiskey, in a 10 ml bottle. I am sure you could use pure grain alcohol too. I make a very strong solution so that I can add a drop or two to whatever juice I want to "mentholize"

The Perfumers Apprentice also sells menthol liquid. Go to their site, select Shop For Flavors, then select Menthols and Mints, you'll see menthol liquid.
If you have crystals, they can be dissolved in high proof unflavored vodka or pure grain alcohol (everclear). Flavored things (generic whiskey, etc.) are generally not recommended for vaping, due to uncertainties as to just what you would be sucking in as well as various stuff clogging atomizers.

Crushing the crystals helps get them to dissolve faster, or putting the bottle with the crystals and liquid into a warm water bath.
