Anyone have suggestions on where to buy menthol crystals?

I got the liquid rather than the crystals--just for convenience. But they sell both.

And it is really good for "doctoring" a juice you buy that you don't care for. A few drops and all you taste is menthol

Aha, Canary - it was one of your posts where I first heard about the crystals, just couldn't remember where I had seen it. I've been looking to get a stronger menthol taste than the liquid, and this sounds like it may just fit the bill. Thanks.

Hmmmm, just wondering how the menthol crystals compare to TW Menthol liquid ( it is the only menthol liquid that I have tried, and not crazy bout it! Also seems to leave a aftertaste )

I just had a strange experience. I moved and my 1/4 oz of menthol crystals was inside a little plastic bag with a press seal top. I think it was sealed or close to it. The bag was inside a closed plastic tackle box, again not quite waterproof, but resistant. The tackle box was inside a moving box with other items. The moving box was in transit for about a week coming across America.

When I went to look for my menthol, it was gone! The bag was still closed, the inside of the tackle box was smeared with the unusable remains of the menthol. It seems unlikely that water could have gotten in; nothing else looked wet, or like it had been wet.

Could it have melted from being left in a hot place somewhere?

Sorry to double post, but I can't seem to edit. Writing that got me interested and I did some more detailed investigation.

The menthol bag was definitely sealed and still is as I didn't open it. I found goodly amounts of menthol remains inside other definitely sealed plastic bags! None of the bags have any holes in them.

I've decided to scrape menthol remains from around the box and see if I can still use it. Why not?

Advice to anyone cleaning up a menthol mess: Don't lick your fingers!
