I am going to review a few menthol vapes in this thread... and I’d appreciate it if you gave feedback or added some new juices to the thread.
I never liked a menthol cigarette, but I love vaping menthol… It’s crisp and clean with satisfying throat hit.
Menthol vapes aren’t terribly complex… they don’t need to be. Despite this, you’d think it would be easy for our suppliers to provide us with great menthol juices… much to my dismay, I haven’t found many that make the grade…
I don’t have a system for rating… I aim to be descriptive… I’ll I’ll list my favorite ones. I’ll ignore the ones that I think are horrible… These are in no particular order…
Halo is widely known for having some of the most popular menthol juices. When I started vaping, most of you suggested I go the Halo route first.
Halo does make really good quality juice. Very clean, dry burning liquid with some complex flavor and much better than average vapor and throat hit.
The only “rub” with Halo is that they do use a unique base… no matter which Halo juice you are vaping, that undertone is present. I do like that undertone, but I find it difficult for all day vaping. In other words, the flavor is there… probably the more complex flavors with menthol… but I can’t use Halo for all day vaping… the undertone gets to me after a while.
Tiki and Malibu are very complex and interesting… Tiki has shades of cinnamon and Malibu reminds me a bit of a mentholated pina colada. They are perfect summer vapes.
Menthol Ice and True Pure are the other two I have tried. I have both of them in my rotation now. I wish that they were a bit stronger… more chill would be nice… but superior juices nonetheless.
Halo has put some creative thought into menthol liquids and deserve recognition for providing some of the more interesting and quality menthol juices… even if you aren’t a dedicated menthol vaper… Halo might be worth a try.
Prime Vaping offers “Chill Out.” It is one of the more flavorful vapes… Jon made me a particularly strong batch at 80% PG. Chill out is one of the sweeter menthol vapes I have tried. It’s quality liquid… A few drips keeps my atty going twice as long as many other brands. I find myself at a bit of a loss trying to describe this one… it’s sweet… minty and very icy… It’s appropriately named. If you enjoy Menthol vapes, this is a fairly unique one and I highly recommend it.
Backwoods Brew is my absolute favorite vendor… If I were on a desert Island, and could only pick one vendor… it would have to be BWB… This is no knock to anyone else… I am just in love with the juice and a numero uno fanboy of Don…
I have found that adding menthol drops to any BWB fruit flavor is a great idea… I even added some menthol to his coffee vapes this past summer to have iced coffee…
I am a huge fan of Don’s Menthol Tobacco (strong) and slightly sweetened… What makes this juice so good is the tobacco base Don uses and his superior base and nic… A must try for fans of Puresmoker’s Silver Leaf Menthol….
The Menthol juice that I have probably invested the most in is Puresmoker’s Silver Leaf Menthol. On a scale of intensity from 1-10 it’s a 9.5 ;-) Super intense… It has been my favorite juice for several months now… I can’t get enough of it. The aftertaste of this juice is magical… leaves your lips sugar minty sweet – The tobacco base is pungent and strong… not for the meek. I’ll admit, it takes some serious getting used to…
Clouds of Vapor has two lines of juices. There less expensive line is Cloudpure… I am in love with this line. Without a doubt, it is the best performing 100% VG juice I have ever vaped…(along with AV)
I have tried Menthol Tobacco and “Smooth” Vapor is thick and heavy... juice burns so dry in your atomizer... you get that loud sizzle...
These are wicked intense flavors that have super intense throat hit… not for the weak or meek… probably the strongest flavor and throat hit combo I have ever tried… For a VG juice, it is extremely clean and kind to your atties… flavors are unique.
The Menthol Tobacco is like an organic steeped base and a strong kick of menthol… while the smooth is indescribable.
Almost like a mentholated RY4… very rich, thick and strong… I don't see this as having mass appeal, but... for the right person, it could be an all day vape... it is for me.
Lastly, I want to comment on LiquidXpress’s Cool Cherry Rush. This is another menthol I have in my rotation. I have always liked certain LX flavors… they are very refined and articulated… Cherry and menthol, honey and coffee are great. Their juice is more reminiscent of the Chinese juices – but of a higher quality… terrific flavor… great throat hit… clean…
These are some of the mentholated vapes that I enjoy… I have tried more than twenty vendors and thirty menthols in the past 4 months and these were my favs...
There are more I want to try…. For example… I want to try Nitelite, vapors etc and ecsi’s…
On another note, I found bluemist’s menthols to be quite interesting… a terrific value for the money and performance… particularly their version of smooth… Not sure if I’ll buy again… but worth being on your radar.
I also found intellicig's riZe-E to be quite good...
