Menthol Question...

Hi everyone....when I was a smoker, I always said I was more hooked on the menthol than I was the cig. If I ran out of cigs and I was among non-menthol smokers, I would go without before bumming a cig without my beloved flavor.

I started vaping just 2 weeks ago, menthol of course, and I'd like to know what everyone's favorite menthol juice is. Right now I'm using "Arctic Wolf" from VaperGod....how about you??

Dekang's USA Green Mix tastes just like a Marlboro Menthol, according to the guy I converted on July 4th.

I only smoked reds, but I'm pretty impressed with the flavor.

Was never a menthol smoker, but don't mind a vape every once in a while with menthol. I made a green apple menthol the other day that was pretty good. Nice and simple. maybe I will graduate to some of the more complex later and will watch this thread for recommended ones.

Halo has some good menthols. I like Sub Zero but it may be too heavy on the menthol for some.
I've been meaning to try Arctic Wolf.

I just ordered Halo's menthol trial pack, looking forward to it. Arctic Wolf is pretty strong. In the beginning it seemed like a Hall's cough drop! Now that I've used it longer, it's settled down/I'm used to it.....

I diy a vanilla menthol that is my all-day vape. It's TFA Vanilla swirl, menthol, a little bit of wintergreen, sweetener, and a touch of Koolada to make it cooler without overpowering the vanilla.

I already have 2 tables in my bedroom devoted to vape supplies... no room for mass production...

Here's my recipe for about 30mls:

25ml Base (I shoot for 6mg nic 75/25 pg/vg. I pre-mix bottles of base with the knowledge that I'll have 5ml's to play with flavors)
2ml TFA Vanilla Swirl
2ml 10% menthol in PG
.5ml Koolada
.5ml Wintergreen
.5ml sweetener

It's good right after it's mixed, but improves dramatically with a weeks steeping. I usually just mix up a few bottles and do a hot-water bath steep for a couple of hours, shaking in between.

I'm still in search of the elusive flavor of Vanilla Velamints, but this will hold me over until I find that lost combination...

I was a menthol smoker almost since I started, Kool Blues for the past few years. Been trying various menthol juices, some are just awful, but right now I'm vaping Fresh Menthol and Harbor Menthol from MyFreedomSmokes, they have juices up to 48mg (yeah, that's strong, but I don't get much chance even to stealth vape during my work day) ...

The Harbor Menthol is the closest I've found to Kools so far ...

Yeah, that's a little early to start with DIY... but not unheard of. The folks in the DIY forum are top notch, and there's lots of good info there if you decide you want to try mixing. DIY E-Liquid

My current fave is Candy Cane from Mr Baker Vapor. Good menthol with just a hint of sweetness.

I was a Newport smoker for almost 20 years. My first liquids were candy cane and ice, I've since moved on to a haphazard mix of RY4 and the local B&M's "Extreme Ice Red Hot". The two together is my all day vape! Its strong enough to blast through even my worst "vapors tongue" episode LOL

Mint is mint. Menthol is menthol. So many "menthols" contain mint also and I really, really, don't like vaping mint of any kind. I've tried a lot of menthols... unfortunately, most either had mint in them or tasted like Vicks cough drops. Mr E Liquids menthol is the best I've found and use it exclusively either straight or added to my tobacco flavors. It comes in Full, Med and Light strengths. I use them all.

Halo SubZero is the strongest menthol I've found.
