Is there any validity to this? In this thread (below), one person comments that menthol actually reduces throat hit and possibly symptoms of PG allergy. I am not sensitive to PG but I bought the menthol crystals with intent to add it to a few liquids for TH as well as make a stronger menthol in my tobacco flavors. If it "reduces" TH it will not make me happy. Please can anyone else give some insight here?

I've added just a tad to add TH to 0nic liquid that had no umph at all before I added it and it works. I added a small amount as I don't care for menthol that much.
You should ask Spikey, she uses it quite a bit and would have a ton of info on it as she uses it to add TH since all she uses is 0 nic liquid. She's the one that told me to add some to mine.

Believe it or not, but I"m vaping pure VG with just menthol crystals now, no nic and no other flavorings and I'm really satisfied with it. I add alot of menthol crystals to the VG, and I'm getting a decent throat hit from it, but I LOVE menthol, I"ve always smoked very strong menthol cigs.

I really wanted to get away from nicotine all together and the pure menthol is the only thing that is strong enough to make me feel like I'm still smoking something.

I've always experienced more throat hit from menthol. Even ultra light menthol analogs gave a much more satisfying throat hit than their regular counterparts.

Just opening up a bag of menthol crystals and breathing in the air through your mouth, it's like vicks, you'll feel it!
