actually vics inhalers would work, they almost kinda like our cartridges I think. Like soaked fibers. How about cutting one open putting it in the mouth side of the cart?

lol don't be e-smoking vicks, its more addictive than nicotine. I got hooked on vicks for about a year, to the point where I couldn't breath properly without using vicks 4-5 times a day:oops:

I was looking at Bickford's website and saw they have peppermint flavor. They have both oil and water soluble. Has anyone tried the water soluble peppermint from bickfords? Since it is water that should be ok to use right? Does it give you a strong mint flavor? Please let me know..I am desperate to find something that will give me that menthol flavor so i can quit these nasty cigs. Any help is appreciated.

My menthol carts in my super mini (rn4082) are actually pretty good.. I would like to find a liquid that is menthol that gives me a good throat hit like these do.. I believe the farsees group makes these... Janes liquid give a good hit? Mine almost make me cough lol... I tried johnson creek artic mint but i got nothing but air and i think it killed one of my atomizers and half ......ed another one lol... Anyone try the JC artic mint? Is the PG version more of a throat hit then the VG?

Bickford actually has 3 different kinds of Peppermint:
1. soy based
2. water based
3. propylene glycol

In my opinion, the one with the propylene glycol has much better flavor, plus the propylene glycol is what we need for the vapor.

I received the soy based by mistake, so never tried it because of course the soy oil would destroy an atomizer.

The ingredients on the "Peppermint Oil Water Based" simply says "Oils of Natural Flavors". I'm not really sure what that means, and am a little skeptical about using it in an expensive e-cig. I tried it in a cheap atomizer, but didn't really get a lot of flavor or vapor.

The Peppermint Flavor in Propylene Glycol is the one you want. It was the strongest in flavor and should be the safest to use. Bickford has told me that unless you specifically say on your order that you want propylene glycol that they ship out the one with soy oil. I found out the hard way. :p

Windblown, I went back to bickfords website thinking maybe I was missing something but all I see are either water soluble or oil soluble not any choice for the propylene glycol. I know that you were looking for menthol flavor that would be strong enough. How is the pepermint flavor hit? Is it staisfying your menthol kick or no?

I love menthol, mint, peppermint.
I hate Janty-mint (hope the new mint taste they are getting is actualy the right stuff, but what they have had till now... bwehh...)

So... I sure wouldn't call the Janty-mint anything even close to minty... at least not for me. I actually get a bit sick when I smoke it... real awful.

Tumbleweed,

Farsees group is a company who makes generics like the super mini. Not sure if they make the juice to go in the carts or if they make the carts at all... As for the atomizers it wasnt the juice it was a battery that wrecked my atomizer. Let me know how janes juice is. I just got some carts in from Puresmoker.com (cashmere) and they taste good. Good throat hit too. I should prob try the JC artic mint in PG.. Anyone try the artic mint in PG and VG? is there a difference in the smoking feel?

Bickfords definitely sell the peppermint in propylene glycol. If they are not showing it on their website, then you just have to let them know that is what you want.

I found it to be very pleasant, but not really the full-monty menthol hit that I am looking for.

However, I have a new trick that I am trying. I bought some pharmaceutical-type menthol crystals on ebay. Today I dropped a few directly into a bottle of Bickfords to see what would happen. After about an hour or so, the crystals were completely dissolved into the PG.

It definitely intensifies the flavor, but my tastebuds are too confused at the moment to say for sure if that is going to do the trick. ;):D

BTW, I agree with Katink about the Janty mint. I would never even know it was mint if it didn't say that on the label.

no liquid or cartridge ive ever tried has tasted strongly of menthol, including JC...i dont think theres any good menthol alternative for esmokers....

we all want a fresh, strong, minty taste, but we never get anything powerful enough...in fact that goes for almost all flavours.

come on liquid makers---lets have some real flavour in our liquid-something we can actually taste with some kick!

Thanks everyone for all the ideas! I have tried mints and although it helps a little it still is not the same. I also have tired breath spray and again it helps but not the same. Windblown let me know what you think about the QS liquid. Wow we sure will try anything to help our addiction won't we? hehehe

I'm a menthol smoker and like e-cig.com menthol best. It will give that hit in the back of the throat and the carts fit Janty and Njoy.
