darkhood, even the newport and camel juices dont taste like the real thing. there are elements missing when vaping that you cant get back, one key thing is the taste of the smoke which will add to the flavor that you notice. most start out in search for their analog like juice but no one ever really finds it. some just settle for the one they like best others move away from tobacco and menthol flavors and enjoy the great taste of fruit, coffee/beverages or dessert juices.

I get that, I do and I've tried at least 40 flavors so far but it's been 3 weeks since I quit and I still find myself craving that taste - all the menthols I;ve tried taste like toothpaste or bug spray...just looking for a good mint flavor to help supress that urge to buy a pack is all. All the sweet flavors make me kinda sick and I have yet to find something I really enjoy to smoke all day (vape, whatever...)

I was a former Marlboro Menthol smoker, and the flavor that I used the most initially was Smokeless Image's Ice Menthol. I've tried a few menthols from other dealers wondering if I could find something even better, but none compare. The Ice Menthol to me is a pure menthol, no mint flavor to it. I even like adding a little to some of my fruit flavors to add a little kick.

My flavor niche has shifted to the coffee flavors.

the only issue i can see about finding a all day vape at this point is how long you have been vaping. smoking distorts your taste buds, which can cause you to change your opinion of flavors as you avoid it longer. i was a red's smoker and hated fruity and menthol vapes my first few months. did the same trying 100's of flavors just to end up liking some of the first few fruity flavors i couldnt stand. they have been in my juice line up for over 2 years now.

best thing you can do is try and find a local seller, try a bunch of their samples and pick a few that you like. not every vendor has the same taste even with the same flavor or name of flavor. then in a few weeks/months revisit some of the ones that were okay and see if your opinion changes on them as your taste buds will be more healed by then.

Is that only available in cartridges? I have an ego and don';t own an 808 so I need something in juice form

I vape menthol exclusively...just as I smoked menthol exclusively. Before I started doing my own DIY juice I liked Ice Menthol from Smokeless Image and Menthol Sensation from My Vapor Store. I vaped those for many many months. Shortly before I started DIY I tried Mr. E-Liqid's Menthol full flavor and liked it too. My favorite of them all was the Sensation at MVS, and I still put a couple ml in my menthol recipe to add "that certain something"...

All of the above are available as juice. You don't have to get prefills.

As already stated, find a brick and mortar store if youre fortunate enough to live near one to sample without having to buy. If not, just order samples and wait for your tastes to change because they will. After 3 weeks your sense of taste is still distorted, but it will come back. Never smoked parliaments so i cant really point you in a good direction, but i personally like tundra from johnson creek. They are more expensive than other companies but i do enjoy the tundra. Not too sweet or fake flavored, but there are several others out there that are good aswell. I havent tried it yet, but i hear good things about Halo. They have one partucular menthol (dont recall the name) that thet advertise as pretty much just menthol with no added flavorings. Have not yet tried it personally though. Anyway, good luck with your search and dont let diy frighten you. Its cheap to get into and you can start with a basic recipe and tweak it to your liking.

What's the best way to get a solid thick menthol out of one that's decent but a lot of so called high notes as they say in the perfume world. How would I add low notes so it's not so bright and thin? I don't like tobacco flavor except the clove darjum what're copies. And I tried fruit once and it went cough syrup on me. Was much better alone. Just wondered. I did ad some peppermint didn't change the high note part. It's ok if you don't have any ideas though. Thanks
