Menthol

I tried a menthol eliquid that I really like but can't find the flavour for dyi. Has anybody had a menthol flavouring that is red in colour? All the menthol flavours I've tried we're clear.

Is it possible that it had food coloring added? I know I've read of people doing that, but I can't say I would. Also, some juices I've purchased have changed color, usually just darker, never red.
