I'm still for Dura-C over the stick. The atomizer is the deciding factor. I would love to have Dura-C flavor with stick production.

Why would someone wait for that when 510 adapters for the Stick have already said they're coming?

@Disman, did you use just the delivered Atomizer ? I used one of my Kissbox, and that made a difference in my opinion. even these took a few days to really break in, at the time the were new.

I bet we will see an update soon.

another idea that may be just my imagination. today i read about some licking sticks, and in that topic someone (Elendil?) said the Stick draws air through the USB port. So as with other roundstyle devices airholes, i just hold the port closed, and i think the draw / kick /density gets better.

opinions on this ?

btw Cameo, i still think it will be a charm /amulett type for the girls wearing around their neck.

i still miss the pipe thing that was announced for a short time.

Licking sticks? I do believe that you are right about the USB port, it acts like a "carb". Did I use that term correctly?

I've tried them both. Getting the same results. The vapor is less dense...it's the same vapor I had with the KBC though, which is the reason why I loved the Dura-C.

I asked Ludo about this and he commented, that's where you heard it from. As for plugging up the USB port, I just tried that based on your suggestion. While I do see a slight increase in the density, it's not like the Dura-C.

I still score one for the Dura-C. If Janty will hurry their butts up on the adapter for the Dura-C to Stick, I will gladly review that. I like the stick's more compact, and different, design.

I agree that the vapor of the stick isn't anywhere near as dense as the Dura-C. However, I wonder if I'm the only one who thinks that my stick is MORE flavorful than my Dura-C.

Basically, I find that my Dura-C is oftentimes harsh enough that the flavor sometimes kind of gets lost. That's not a problem for me because I find myself craving the harshness of an analog from time to time, and the Dura-C satisfies that craving.

imo its just the size of the ato chamber
- short (401) = clean'n harsh
- big (Pipe) = Rich'n Smooth

the other cigs just fit in between the two.

That's the Janty engraving that took so long. It's neat, it's almost invisible and glows and reflects when light hits it. I like it.

I've (EDIT) *NOT* found the throat hit to be that satisfying with any penstyle, including the stick as it was shipped.

I've taken to drysmoking my stick and you have to draw for a while for the vapor to build up in your mouth, then inhale to get a good throat hit. I drysmoke the stick because the filler from the cart gets in the way for me. Just rip off the white part of the mouthpiece and stick the black mouthpiece on the atty.

I'm waiting for the Dura-C adapter as well as the 901 adapter. I like my stick for the reasons DisMan stated above: better form factor; cheap batteries.

Once the adapters come out I'll be all over them. I can't wait to try a 901 again, this time with a manual switch. 901 was the gold standard for so long but after going manual with the Kissbox and the Dura, I just can't do the oldschool primer puffs anymore.

Well, I'm going to go over to the other side of the fence on this. Initially, I felt my Stick provided better flavor than my Dura-C, but in a head-to-head comparison with clean atomizers and the same liquid, I've decided that my Dura-C is providing better flavor.

Could have knocked me over with a feather on that one.

In any event, I've never been a huge 801 atomizer fan, so I'm not heartbroken . . . just anxiously awaiting the adaptors.

Very funny (with a good bit of truth in it). My husband plays Ultimate Frisbee, and players are very "relaxed" about being on time. The standard joke in our house if we're going to meet someplace at a certain time is to ask, "Is that regular or frisbee time?"

I started thinking it was just me with the throat hit problems, I actually gave up on the JS for the time being until the 510 adapter comes out.
