Ummm, I had to revert to a tool to get my atty in firmly enough, that mouthpiece doesn't quite do it for me.
I have a rubber-coated pen I use all the time, because I have trouble properly gripping a pen (arthritis), so I put that in and it grips it very well, and am able to seat the atty properly with no effort at all. You will be able to feel when it is seated.
If you stick is new, don't worry, it will get "broke in" and eventually you will be able to finger tighten it, but mine was a stinker for awhile too.

I've gotten several of the new atomizers and they all look just fine. Maybe you possibly got a bad one or something? Worst case scenario, you send it back for a new one eh?

I went ahead and did a check on the 3 extras I just received and they all pretty much look like your old KB atomizer for the vents. Below is a quick pic I took of the atomizers. I've tested all of these out and they work wonderfully. Easy draw, no whistling and good vapor.

The break in time for them was pretty short...although I've learned not to use 36mg juice to break 'em in...big headache there. :)

Yep I've requested replacements from Janty...no response yet.:(

On a side note....I see the white residue in the far right atomizer of your pic also...My have dirty gunk and the same dried white residue in them...anyone have an idea what that stuff is?

how long does it take to get email conformation.....

In my case that was 8 minutes.

1. Ordered on 6/8/09 at 10:27 am.
2. Received email with payment instructions at 10:35 am
3. Received email that my order has been shipped on 6/8/09 at 5:18 pm

Just checked the status and it says that USPS has processed my order and the package is in the Fort Worth, TX.

Hopefully I will get my stick at the end of this week.:p

Don't worry about it. :) Every time I order from them, I get a fast response from the time I order it to the time it ships. I've always gotten a reply within 48 hours of my order being shipped.

I have also heard that their system is being re-worked to make it much easier to go through and to have the payment system automated and to let it tell you if items are in stock and what-not. No more having to worry about sending the payment manually after you submit the order! w00t! ;)

Also, not sure if it helps, but I always put a note in there to have Jeff (or whoever packs it) to check out the parts first as well as let him know to go ahead and send everything that is in stock and just send the other stuff later or remove it.

I've always been pleased with the service I've gotten from them. I know they've had issues in the past, but personally, I've never had anything but a good experience. Rest assured, you are in good hands.

Mine Suck! One barely allows any air through and provides near zero vapor and the second is a little bit better.

Big difference I see is that the threads are not "Vented" in line with the two air holes all the way thru the thread pattern, So when I tighten the new Attys into the Sticks, the threads virtually seal off the air completely.

Prolly will ask for a couple of exchange attys... Not sure if this change was intentional or that the threads are supposed to be slotted all the way to the battery contact. My Sticks work great with previous Janty attys and other generic 801's. But near ZERO air flow with the Attys that were delivered with the sticks.

Here is a picture of the Issue I ran into with my new Janty Stick Atomizers
stratovation-albums-album-one-picture1437-janty-atty-comparison.jpg

My supplied atty has the holes going all the way through. A funny thing is that it works quite well on an 801 passthrough. Only on the stick is it a bit whimpy.

I'll just use it on the passthrough, not worth sending back. I've got plenty of atty's to use on the stick.

I had to use pliers at first to get the atty screwed in properly. Even then, the supplied atty after breakin is somewhat whimpy when used in the stick (although seems fine on a passthrough).

After a few atty swaps the stick has loosened up enough that I can screw an atty in with fingers.

Beci atty's are the best (and cheapest) I have found, and they really cook in the stick.

I agree. When I was using my KBC, I would only get 3 drops...now, it's like 6 to 7 when I refill. This thing sure does pull more juice. It must be the sealed tube that "recycles" the fluid or something.

Not sure how the better cart draining works - it's the same atomizer after all; but the stick has been outperforming the KB and generic pen in this area. It also gets more vapor, but slightly less intense hit. Go figure!
