After alot of research and inquiries I ordered a Janty Dura-C and received it with in days...Thank You! After charging up the batteries as per the instructions I sat down to savor the experience. My new toy does not produce vapor very well. Further it gets very warm and the battery doesn't last long. I'm sure it may be due to operator error but has anybody got any pointers for me? Am I getting a small head rush from sucking too hard or is that a side benefit of e-cigs? :hubba:

The dura atomizer needs to break in, and many new users flood it. The trick to the best performance from a dura (aka joye 510) is to only use the cartidge and not drip. It is by far the best cart performing atomizer I have tried.

The other thing you need to watch out for is pressing the button for to long. The best result come from 2 seconds even though janty states 5 seconds is the maximum.

Thanks for the quick response and I hope I haven't flooded it! 8-o But if I press the button for 2 seconds I get nada, 4-5 seconds gets a small amount of vapor, overall performance seems intermittent. What is the prognosis if I've flooded the atomizer?

Do you have any liquid that isn't already in the cart? If so try dropping a bit on the atomizer and see if that helps

Dripping? From my research on this forum I assume that one drips a few drops of liquid on the atomizer...? Doesn't this burn up the atomizer? I don't have spares yet or liquid because I wanted to see if this worked for me. I didn't smoke an "analogue" for 7 hours and I had a little buzz going. Me likey!!!

The main things to check are that your batteries are fully charged and your atomiser is not too wet or dry.

If you're using the manual switch batteries they are sealed so if you flood the atomiser you won't damage anything and will just need to drain it.

I'd check that it's not too dry first by squeezing some eliquid out of a cartridge into the atomiser. Keep adding more eliquid until it either works or it leaks.

If it doesn't work before it leaks then you now have a flooded atomiser and it was probably too dry at the start.

Blow through the atomiser from the battery end onto a tissue to drain and vape it dry with a blank mouthpiece for a while. That might sort it.

There are some short videos on dripping etc if you scroll down this thread to my first post - http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...ed-comprehensive-intro-vaping.html#post138671

Just take all my money Ludo.

*sigh*

He's already getting all of mine. I cant stop ordering more stuff from them. I have the KB Classic, and pre-ordered the J-Stick, and now decided to buy a Dura-C just for the fun of it. Too bad I missed out on some of the earlier products, I could have one of all their products.

So far I am loving it, but I had one thing I was wondering about.
Was I supposed to receive a car charger?
I did receive the car adaptor, to plug in the USB passthrough.
There is no car charger though, to charge the regular batteries...
I also looked on their site and it appears they don't even carry them.

Am I missing something?

I would like to be able to charge my portable batteries in the car on long trips if I ever need to.

Thanks!

Yeah I did receive the car adapter for the USB passthrough.
That is to power the cig via the car cigarette lighter though...for smoking while on the road.

What I am interested in is being able to recharge the portable batteries in the car.

I go fishing and camping a lot over the summer, and won't always have access to a wall-plug. I want to be able to recharge my regular batteries via the car plug...

I suppose I could just buy a standard ac/dc adapter for the car...

Yes, you get only the adapter, not a charger for the car. Standard AC/DC adapter would work as well, like you said.

If you would have bought a Dura-C kit, you could have bought the PCC, which would allow you to charge batteries in your car...or in your pocket. :)

I'm trying to figure out if I'm doing something wrong with mine, or what?

They're sending me new parts, the manual switch broke the first time I used it and I've not been able to get decent vapor using Janty's cartridges or the ones I dripped myself from the beginning. I keep getting a mouthful of juice and really wimpy vapor. My batteries are charged, and I've tried both the wall adaptor and the USB cable with the same results.

Is it the vaporizor for sure? What exactly does the switch do? I'm bummed.
