I've tried several brands of atomizer, and it seems that the stick has a consistently milder hit than conventional penstyle usb or full battery. It also delivers thicker vapor. Flavor is about the same.

Not sure why this is so. USB does give higher voltage, which might make a difference even though its current limited to 500ma.

Oh, it doesn't strike me as excessive. It's a one-time purchase, not a consumable. Plus, the Stick and an adaptor (or two) is still cheaper than the Prodigy or the Screwdriver, so I don't think Janty has priced itself out of the market.

yeah i could see that , plus like apostle said , it has other applications as well , in a pinch you could maybe use it to attach a penstyle battery to a 901 atomizer

I am betting you will get tighter, better draws and better throat hits with the 901.

Surprisingly enough, I'm getting a very nice throat hit with the Janty Kissbox atomizer in the Stick. What I'm kind of missing, though, is the denser vapor and the harder draw.

Plus, I get my best flavor from a 901 atomizer and my Screwdriver. I'm hoping that the Stick and the 901 will match that. I love my SD, but I have to say that I'm NUTS about the JantyStick design. It feels wonderful in my hand, and I love the placement of the switch. Best yet, I can throw it in my pants pocket and not have it accidentally activate.

Been 4 days now, and I have also tried using another broken in atomizer, same thing.
It seemed to work great the day and second day I got it, not anymore.
It's an automatic...maybe the switch?
No idea but I still get alot of vapor.

Mine was not working. I emailed Jeff who said that they were not going to sell the automatic ones any longer. He offered to switch off the auto for the manual. As usual, Jeff and Janty cannot be beat.

I just got my Stick on Monday and I only got to use my stick for a couple of hours. When I plug my USB cable into my computer, the Red LED on the stick comes on but it doesn't let me take a drag off the stick(doesn't turn blue and activate the atom). I let it charge for about 45 minutes and then tried again with it plugged in to my computer and nothing.....The Red LED blinks 5 times like a dead battery, so I waited about 2 1/2 hours for it to charge and the same thing happens with both batteries......Looks like everything should be fine but it isn't......even when I unplug the USB after a couple of hours...The light just blinks 5 times when I press the switch.......so sad.....
When it was working....it was awesome......
Don't know if it is the batteries, USB cable or defective charging mechanizim...

Anyone else had this problem?

Now I am going to sound stupid here, but on a PC or laptop, there are two kinds of USB ports, no 1 and no 2 ports, for charging you have to use a No 1, as the other port doesnt have the same power.

I had a similar problem with a pass through, but my main USB port was tied up with something else that required a No 1.

Someone is bound to come on and tell this in more technical terms than I can, hence I feel daft...lol

Have you tried another USB port is what I am trying to say.

It certainly sounds as though your battery isnt charging.

You dont have a pass through do you? if you do,you could try the battery in that. Just in case its a duff battery, although its not likely, but worth a try.

I never use the USB, I bought a charger which charges the batteries in 90 mins, so I can manage with 2 batteries a day.

But if all else fails you will need to contact Janty.

No passthrough......I also ordered a charger and spare batteries so I wouldn't have to use the USB too......I did contact Janty, just waiting for a reply. Just wanted to see if anyone had a similar issue.....I always tend to run into problems that a geek like me can't figure out.:?:

Oh you are not alone...we all run into them...lol

The charger is brilliant ! and the batteries DO... and I will stand and argue this, last longer when given a quick charge from the charger, although I know it shouldnt make a difference. I got 9 hours one day, but it averages between 5 and 7 depending on how stressed I am...lol

Fingers crossed you get this one sorted.
