This kit seems overpriced to me compared to the my vapor shop kit. You are getting a prettier battery, but you are only getting one battery and one clearo, compared to the MVS kit, where you get two batteries and two toppers. Jmo. I'm not sure how important the rainbow color is to you.

and you are totally right... **pulls head out of @$$** That kit you posted does seem a pretty good value. I'll direct myself that way. Again, the concern about the size of the batteries. With the kit would I be better taking advantage of trying to different brand batteries or take advantage of the value of getting two 1300mAh for the same price?

I'll be honest, I'm being a little shallow about the rainbow battery

Well, for comparison purposes, that rainbow battery will run about $25 or less, a t3 runs about $6, a charger cable about $5. A replacement t3 head maybe about $2.50 if you buy it individually (less per if you can find a 5 pack). That gives you a total of around $39 if you were to buy all the components separately. Another $6 or so if you need the wall adapter for the charger.

Thank you SO much for your help. I was just thinking to myself that if I was going to spend a bit more on a single one that it'd be better to have a larger battery... I guess the thing I'm wondering about is physically HOW much longer is the 1300mAh is compared to say... a 900mAh... I don't wanna feel like I'm puffing on a billy club :)

This is a basic sizing chart for you

Nothing wrong with that at all. It's your device, personalize it how you see fit.

Sure, try two different sizes. Don't stress too much about it. Batteries don't last forever, so they will need replacing eventually. No need to get something thinking you will be stuck with it forever. YWIM?

I posted earlier and it seems to have gotten lost. I said something like, "it's important to get something you LIKE. If that means a rainbow battery, then the rainbow is important."

I agree... I think I'll keep the rainbow in reserve for when I need a replacement.

I think I am going to go with that MVS kit. With the two 1300mAh vision spinner batteries... just gotta figure out which cartomizers to go with. I do not like the ones with just a window... I'll also just keep in mind of upgrading to a glass tank when I need to replace one.

I feel like I'm flitting around too much between different thoughts... time to take a break from the computer for a bit. You guys are so awesome for all the info you've given me this morning! I'll be back around later :)

Current leanings:
Vision Ego Clearomizer 2.0 with a Joye Ego-C Twist 650mAh
Kanger T3 eGo bottom coil Clearo with a Vision Spinner 1300mAh
Not a bad deal for $70 and right in my budget

If you want glass clearos to come in a kit, take a look at vapedojo.com. In their starter kit section they have variable volt ego type Kanger batteries and Mini Protank II kits. Two of each for around $60 I think. Only have two color options, but you can customize with a wrap from another site. The Mini Protanks are our most reliable and hassle free clearos in the house. Variable volts was key when I quit smoking. My husband was reluctant to try vaping with me, and he smoked for a week when I started vaping. He came around, but before he did I cranked up the volts on my ego and vaped through cravings when he smoked around me.

Merry meet,

I've been using a Vision Spinner with the Kanger mini ProTank-all of it stock-with great success for the last month and it's great for a starter build for not much money.

But, once you get immersed on all the neat gadgets that there is out for vaping, reading the forums, watching YouTube vids, the plethora of juices, it now becomes a hobby other than vaping which most likely you'll want to try out different mods, mechs, juice, etc.

Good luck on your choice and the members here seem eager to answers any questions about almost anything!

Alright. Well I went and ordered one. On the way to me is a Rainbow Vision Spinner 1300mAh and a kanger mini protank 2, also a usb charger... Total ended up being $40 including shipping

Good choice and good luck!

One thing to add. Set right level of expectation on your initial vaping experience.
Unfortunately, atomizers lose flavor as they "burn". Lots of newcomers (including myself) take the initial hit full of flavor and set the bar on that. Bad idea. Most important part of vape gear is consistency. Flavor, battery, maintenance, etc. It is all about how the gear consistently deliver the flavor. Even the cheap gear will give you a great few hits. But when it starts to underperform after a few days, you will question if you did something wrong and end up spending hours/days trying to "fix" it. It gets worse when you start to lose your taste buds. It is not you. Vaping gears are still in its infancy and hasn't perfected the consistency yet. So, just relax and set the expectation to reasonable level and enjoy the experience. It is a journey, not a destination.
Happy Vaping

Awesome, soon you will be tasting the rainbow. Lol, I know that was lame. I'm glad you got the one you wanted. Do you have juice? Once you get it, start looking for a backup.

We've got juice on the way. 10 5ml juices from ecblends, another 7ml coming with my husband's Triton. We talked about ordering smaller bottles from a few different places and then starting to buy a bit more from there. We've also found some locally that we can pick up while we wait for the better stuff to get here.
It was easier to spend 40 right now on one than 70 some on two right now. I figure I'll maybe buy a smaller one to have as a secondary in a few weeks. I'm happy with the choice I made.
