Well I was VERY frustrated yesterday morning, and wondering if I was crazy for dropping the money in the last week that I have into vaping... A Halo Triton starter kit and extra pack of coils, currently have 15 5ml samples coming from ECBlends (10 of which will be here today!), my $40 PV (be here tomorrow! though the damn charger looks like it'll be a few more days). Its not like we are made of money so it was a lot to us. The reality of it is that my ultimate goal is for us to give up analogs. Yesterday I wasn't so sure we'd be able to do it... Today I'm certain we CAN and WILL do this.
Plus it was really sweet last night, usually after dinner we put on a show for our son and go smoke a cigarette outside. Once thats done we do our own thing... Last night hubby and I sat at the kitchen table together drinking an after dinner cup of tea and vaping. We talked and just hung out together. I really feel that vaping is something that has given us something else in common that we can share together and that's pretty damn great. :)

I've converted lots of couples and I've seen positives outside of the aspect of no longer smoking. They can relate, share ideas, celebrate, research...together. I know with some friends vaping has definitely brought them closer. Maybe Shrinks should consider vaping as couples therapy
My wife is a non smoker but she does the books for a non profit vape org I started and she is just as excited when a convert is successful as the convert themselves. In all sincerity Vaping is truly a Godsend for us.

This is our compromise, he didn't want to quit smoking and I really really do. He's willing to switch over to vaping full time

Usually the women are the first to "move forward" and start vaping with their hubbies following afterwards. But it's ALL good however we arrive there and methinks he owes you a fancy nite out :rickroll:

P.S. Sounds like he's a keeper IMO.

Vapor Joe- if ordering from FastTech realize they sell knockoffs and genuine. Shipping takes a long time and batteries very expensive to ship ($50)

Do you mean batteries like 18650s or regular ego/spinner type batteries? I ordered some mini egos from fasttech about a month ago and shipping was free. I've never heard that it costs $50 to ship batteries from there. I had considered buying some Panasonic 18650s from them, but ended up getting them from a US supplier instead because I found a decent price,

I have only been vaping for about 10 days now. I have been a smoker for 20 years. I knew cold turkey was not an option for me. I have smoked them just as I smoked analogs, and have had no incident. With analogs I always inhaled straight into the lung, no holding it in my mouth. I have had no extra coughing, etc. Is that a bad thing? I suppose it is personal preference. I am using Mark 10 brand, and they are cheap. Pre-filled cartridges. The downside is that I've no idea the nicotine level. My friend let me borrow a South Beach and it specifies the nicotine (12 mg - 6mg, etc.) I was an ultra light smoker before these vapors. Would it be to my benefit to find a brand that does allow for choosing? Also, have any of you had any luck re-filling pre bought carts with liquid? Thank you in advance and good luck to you all as we start this journey together!

I expect it may become a common reference around here. How's your Spinner vaping?

It does have a nice ring to it... and I would imagine there aren't many vapers on here who haven't suffered from nic head at one time or another.

Its vaping lovely, I've got Irish Cream from ECBlends loaded up in it right now. Been playing with the voltage, its kinda neat to see the difference with the different settings. I'm absolutely thrilled with my purchase... whatever I pick up next I think will be a smaller battery for better portability. This 1300mAh battery is pretty good size.

I'm craving some fruity vape though and that is one thing right now that we DONT have. Was going to do it tonight but I think tomorrow night after work I'll ditch the munchkin at home with daddy and head up to a new smoke shop he found the other day... Privately owned, the owner is a vaper and apparently has a pretty decent selection of stuff compared to what else we've found locally available.
**fingers crossed my battery doesn't die before my charger gets here!**

I think it would be good if you could choose your nicotine level, definitely.

Way back when I first started I did refill pre-filled cartos with liquid. It works fine, and it's a good way to get started tasting new flavors without having to buy a new ecig. Some of the taste of the previous liquid will remain though, so you might be limited as to what flavors mix well together. If you decide to stick with vaping (and I hope you do) I think you'd eventually want to move up to something like what Australe got.

ETA: I did just find this thread http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...gs-contain-1-5-nicotine-e-liquid-made-us.html which says that the Mark Ten contain 1.5% (or 15 mg/ml).
