I'm not sure I just assumed it was seeing through it to the red thing around the bottom?

I put the coil I had in originally so far so good! It's back to being good for the time being. Thanks everyone apparently something helped haha!

Does that pin just sit there? It looks like it screws in but doesn't feel like it. I realize that I watched a video for the subtank not the mini and that I have to unscrew the side to take the chimney off and the other didn't have it. Woops
Also, until this coil gives I'll keep using it, if I want to change juice what's the best way to go about it? Since I can't vape it dry since the side holes are so high but I also don't like wasting. I haven't tried the new flavour since they didn't have testers of it at the shop, but I'm not confident in taking it all apart to rinse it.

So does that pin just sit there or is it supposed to screw in? It almost seems like a plug and I'm scared that it will get stuck or leak or something. It's the big one on the bottom

Hi, I'm new here. Not totally new to vaping but I got a subox mini kit three days ago. My friend primed and filled it up and it was fantastic. I got near the end of the tank and put some more in and it's been nothing but problems and I'm upset as I'm on a very limited income and just spent over a hundred dollars. I put more juice in and it tasted different and was harsh throat hits when it was smooth as could be the first tank. I put some juice in the coil thinking it was dry or something and it poured out the mouthpiece. I then took the bottom off and dried it off a bit and tried again but it was spitting and tasted wrong still and if you blew in one side of the air flow juice came out the other. We changed coils and it still isn't good and now it's leaking from somewhere and I don't understand what's wrong. I'm pretty bummed because I have a full tank of juice in there and don't know how to fix it. It was so great day one and it's just been downhill. :(

Hoping someone can help me out here as I'm not a big fan of dripping and just want to use my new vape again.
Thanks
I wasting a vape shop and someone with the mini was having the same issues. Check your atomizer to make sure the o-ring from the actual coil itself didn't come off inside where the coil screws in.

Yea... About that... You've seen the pictures of the Wii controller stuck in the TV screen? my wife was pretty ticked when she walked into the living room and saw my SubTank and mod stuck in the screen. Im not allowed to do vape maintenance in the living room anymore... :(
LMFAO. I've been there with my Subtank, ended up being the Subbox/Kbox mini.

Oh really? I thought that was a good amount because my friend said more and I would go through coils to fast. I was actually vaping most the night tonight on 28w because it was a bit less harsh. (I don't start on a new coil at that I go as low as possible and do a few drags and then go up a few watts at a time)

Im not sure what you mean, my original problem seems to be fixed, I'm not getting nearly as much leak just a little bit out the air flow every once in a while.

What's the best time to put more juice in? Before it goes below the side holes of the cube at all or what? I was thinking of trying my other juice but not sure how to do that when the coils already soaked in the other one?

You guys are all really helpful I'm learning a lot more now than I have in the past year haha.

I thought that you couldn't use store cotton balls because of the peroxide or whatever in it? I watched a YouTube video it doesn't look thaaat hard. I'll try that before vaping it, I find it really hard to change the airflow on it because it's all one depth so I usually just always leave it wide open. I read somewhere that you are supposed to close it before filling with juice, Is that true?

That's why I came here to be honest, I have two friends with the same vape and they did everything they thought of to fix it but it didn't help much. And the vape store is over an hour bus ride each way for the one I bought it from so if I can avoid that it would be great haha.
I don't use cotton balls. They are cleaned with bleach. I use organic cotton pads, they are oval and come in a stack inside a bag sort of like Pringles. There is no fierce taste to it like I've had with organic Japanese cotton. And it only cost me 2 dollars for the bag. It's the exact same stuff that my vape shop brings in except his pads are square and cost more.

I have had this little bit of leaking every now and again, I have worked it out to be condensed juice gathering in the bottom section. Whip it off and take the top part of the tank off, the atomiser off and give it a wash. Blow it out and dry it with a paper towel and re-build. Make sure it's dry first though. Mine seems to last around a week between cleans. If it keeps spitting make sure your juice is right. I had one that was lovely through the 1.5 ohm coil but spat and burnt horribly through a 1.2. I am now using a 70/30 VG/PG with absolutely no issues. Good luck.

I usually just refill when it hits the top of the coil head, I find when I let it get below I find my coil head heats up too much.

I still prefer the original horizontal coils, I find they last longer and if you do accidentally burn your wick they are really really easy to rewick, with some fine point tweezers I can get 4-5 coils rewicked in half an hour or less, also they are pretty easy to rebuild too.

The original vertical OCC coil was great, the horizontal OCC coils didn't like much at all. Used the RBA section once and never looked back. Still playing around with different gauges and wraps to find my optimal setup.

RBA is the way to go with this tank for sure!!! I'd rather not waste money buying their OCC coils which they pack too tight in the first place. About 10 bucks and I can recoil and wick the rba for a long time over.
