Met my first fellow vapor out in the wild

I was at the sprint store last night and happened to catch a cloud of vapor from the corner of my eye. I got really excited and walked over to him and asked him what juice he had. I felt like a kid again, he probably thought I was crazy...

I have yet to meet a wild vapor-er in Nashville. Even the store bought ecigs. I feel so alone. I mean, I got 2 of my friends on it and my wife, but I still feel alone. They are all casual. As I am hardcore. Cause I don't put it down.

And to the OP, he probably felt crazy when you spotted him!

haven't had the luck of spotting a person vaping radomly; however a new e cig shop opened up short while down the street from my house so often find myself just going to the shop to just go to the shop. I find myself spending money every time I walk through that door however, but meh gives me a spot I can just go and socialize with other vapors and might even try and land me a job there...

I was at a Mardi Gras parade the other day and saw one of the float riders take a hit then stuff her cig into her bra. I tipped my cig to her and she smiled and threw me some beads.

The title of this thread made me laugh. I feel like that, too, when I see another vaper. I see more and more vapers...slowly but surely. Crazy? Nah. He was probably just as excited as you were!

The only Vapers I see "in the wild" is the one guy I got to convert at work. Hope I'm well on the way to convert 4 more there. Resistance is futile! the cost savings alone!.....

I've never seen another vaper in the wild, and yet I know they exist....... : ( I see people on the forum from Florida and I know there are a couple of vape shops in my state, but never see anyone. Other people tell me they see them in my area all the time. Maybe they hide from me, lol.

It's not uncommon anymore to see a vaper in my area.

What's now amusing to me is when my bride (never-smoker/never-vaper) spots a vaper and nudges me, "There's a user!"

I've seen a few people at my college with them, usually on a lanyard.

I stealthed on mine in class the other day, and my instructor saw me. Looks at me all shrewd and says "what's that?" I think about it for a second, and since he's a chemistry teacher i said "Alkaloids."

He thought about it a second, nodded, and said "gotcha."

The only vapers i have seen outside of the store are family members, wife, brother and brother in-law. And I feel strange when vaping out in public places like stores. I feel like I have to hide like I have a lit cig. It seems to be a strange feeling to me.
