I spotted one at school a few months ago. We didn't talk.

Although a lot of smokers were curious about what I was doing and what I was doing it with.

Man, the drug references are never ending. Now people at work grab my Provari and use it like a light-saber, or the Men in Black Neurolizer.

These people breed and vote.

On a lighter note, I had a nice face-to-face with Mr. Murdock today. Got me some Pluid, among other things (ecig related).

Theres no vape shopes within 100 miles from where I live, and no e-cigs except the convenience store mystics and such, so its somewhat unknown here, but I carry mine on a lanyard around my neck whenever we go out and about...gonna start carrying disposable tips soon too, to let people give it a try.

If things were a little more certain industry wise...a store here might do fairly well.

I thankfully get to meet many at the local store but none outside of that, but tonight I got my 1st person trying to bum a cig from me . I laughed and said sorry I was use a PV , he was like I will take one of those and I just laughed in his face. His friend explained it is not a type of analog. Bahahah.
Your glee makes me happy though!

Edit: these were teens , so either way wasn't going to happen.

I have yet to see a stranger vaping, but I'm on the lookout for people using cig-alikes since they are harder to spot since it looks like they are smoking.

Vaping hasn't caught on as acceptable in my area yet, but I have been surprised a couple of times to find out that people I know are vapers! I'm an insurance agent and I was talking to a client about quitting smoking; she smiled and pulled a couple of disposables out of her purse! I also have a good friend who I don't see often during the winter. She lost a lung last summer to smoking and was still smoking the last time I talked with her. When I talked to her last week I learned that she quit smoking a few months ago using cig-alikes, she still carries a dead one with her for when she gets an urge...

I actually started on vaping because a couple of my friends did first. Took a bit then Vapage had their 2for1 deal so hubby and I took the plunge, and so did our best friends! Her husband hasn't kept it up but she is, so when we get together it's all about what flavors we've tried and what we're thinking about ordering, how to clean the atomizer, etc... Drives the spouses crazy but it really really helps us both keep on track to have a "real" world "partner" in this endeavor. Have yet to see a stranger vaping in public though, I'm afraid I'd be like the OP and startle the heck out of him~lol.

It happened! I was stalking my mail box for vape mail and half way there got called over buy a guy selling the frozen meats. Was about to just keep walking but noticed a neon green drip tip staring at me. We got to chat a bit, was just kinda mind blowing. !st one outside of the local vape store I have seen.

Vaping has not caught on where I live... However, our jail recently banned all smoking from it's premises and I was told by a friend that works there that the Officers have now started buying the cigalikes from the convenience store. He actually asked me where I got mine from since it was "so cool and no one else has that". If this FDA thing wasn't hanging over our heads I would totally open a B&M store here because it is about to take off.... still haven't seen one in the wild though. :(

No vapor human sitings by us but there's a good reason.. there are usually no human sitings either - save the mail lady. Two cars in front of the house on our out in the sticks lonely road is a traffic jam. When we leave our little out of the way sanctuary, it's usually for either a doctor appt or a commissary run (both an hour away on the base)
I'm in North Florida and there's a vape meet planned for the first weekend in March.. Pensacola.. there's a thread in here for it.. can't wait to meet other vapers. :)

I'm a student at a major university here in California, over the past year I think I was the only one with an e-cig (or at least the only person willing enough to vape it in public). It was intimidating at first since when I started school when I was sporting either an ego or a lavatube and would get the looks.

This quarter however, I have seen ALOT of eGo twists running around which has been refreshing. Ive stopped to talk to a few of them, and unfortunately most of them haven't any clue as to what they have. But I guess we can't all be e cig nerds. I do have a new co-worker now who is just as into it as I am.

I'm still the only one with any kind of eye catching mod's however. But at least I know people are out there finally!

I've seen quite a few here in Las Vegas and it thrills me every time! It's like spotting a fellow human amongst a planet of aliens! :)
Seems there is a lot of vaping going on in Vegas...

Here is a post I made back in December...
I've been vaping for three and half years now, and up until my trip to Las Vegas a few weeks ago had only seen one other vaper.

But in Vegas the wife and I were at a timeshare presentation, and the lady in the couple at the table next to us was vaping on an Ego.
Then later that night, I was vaping at the blackjack table and the pit boss came over and showed me his Ego.

It really nice that in Vegas I can vape at the tables without having to worry about being asked to stop.
Here in California, I am asked to stop more often than not.
:(
