 Thanks Terry, I needed that....

I was just waxing my mini woodvil 'Gem' and I went to grab it and it fell on the floor... It looked okay, but when I proceeded to wipe the wax off, a splinter appeared on the cloth :(

Thankfully, it was but hair of a splinter, but it's still distressing -- I do love the look of the wood, but not its fragility

It's a gorgeous ebony mini woodvil but I don't want to do this anymore:

I think I should let my REOkin know I'm thinking parting with it.

Always happy to provide you with laughter. But I am so sorry to hear about your mini woodvil. :( You shouldn't get rid of it just because of a splinter. But if you do I know just the place for it.

BTW: I love your emosicons (sp). It was hard for me not to laugh while reading such a sad story.

Would an 18350 and a Kick module fit? As I understand it, they should be around 15mm
I know David from super-t was having a small issue with 18350+kick being slightly too large for his 18500 mod, but the reo has a bit more forgiveness with the spring. You'll likely run the risk of over compressing the spring, but it'll likely fit.

But that is 100% speculation based on a prototype model, so grain of salt and all.

Hmmmm something to think about:?:
I plan to kick my grande in the future, that's a much easier option to shoot for, as that's exactly what the kick was designed for. 18490+kick = 18650. I believe the common consensus is there will need to be a small bit of sanding off the adonization inside the body for grounding to work properly OR use of a tumbled raw body.

My objective here is to try and get away from having to carry my Grande out and about and have a smaller Reo which has as much punch as my mini at 6v (or close to it) but better battery life then my IFR14250's
