Well, I kinda like just the Metal 18490 :)

If Robert follows what he did with the Woodvil 18490 it should be the Grand 18490. Or maybe the Mini 18490 since the size is smaller. There was talk about the name Midi, it didn't go over too well. I will get one, no matter what the name is. Got to have one ya know!

Well, I have an idea for mine when I order it, and if Rob will do it, and it won't cost too much. And what is my idea? Well, I ain't telling. If I get it done, you will see it. :)

I almost considered having my friend who engraved the catchcup for my VV engrave Rob's face on a Grand which he said he could do. Then after think about having in my mouth while hitting it and looking at his face seemed wrong some how.

Not bad D. I didn't think you could do it. I sure wish I knew how you do that. Thank you.

open an image that you want and click on it to make it a layer
add a layer and select the light and dark colors and then choose cloud from the filter gallery to mix the colors
add another layer and select add noise from the filter gallery
to the second layer, go back to the filter gallery and select craquelure and fool around with the settings

then use the erase tool from the areas where you don't want the effects in layers 2 & 3 (layer 1 or 0 is the original)

flatten image and viola! :D

Oh my, help me hold back and not say what I want! Gil, that statement was almost too much for the naughty side of me to resist!

Have mercy, don't lay something like that out for me to read!

You make it sound so easy but it's clear as mud. I've played around with layers and couldn't figure it out. I'll try again. Thanks, but I may have more questions.

I'm glad you tried it! :D No, you wouldn't get there by my summary of how I did it... here's a how-to with detailed instructions that helped me give it a go:

Good luck! :D

PM me anytime

Thanks D. I bookmarked it and will check it out tomorrow. How do you make a layer.

There's a couple of ways
- from the menu bar, click on the layers menu and click on new layer
-or you can create a new layer from the layers palette toolbar - it's a little icon to the right of the trashcan (I'm using PS CS5, and my layer palette toolbar is on the bottom of the palette).
