Funny, I did almost the same thing today. No tooth damage, but I have crowns that are metal on the back. Ever bit down on aluminum with a filling? Imagine that, but worse.

I'm using silicone driptip pitched on Penelope metal tip when I drive. In general, I'm switching from metal driptips to plastic/silicone, If it's possible. It costs about 90 cents per piece. I like my teeth and dentist is expensive here in Prague
