your not the only one that misread, I could have sworn the OP said hit a pole, not a pot hole. I was ready to reply with and your worried about knocking out a tooth, what about the car. your post saved me from that reply.

Funny, I did almost the same thing today. No tooth damage, but I have crowns that are metal on the back. Ever bit down on aluminum with a filling? Imagine that, but worse.

If you find a deal on non-metal drip tips, let me know. I'll just be sitting here reliving that horrifying memory.
