The Temon by MMvapor is more or less the size of an ego with a mini vivi nova on it.
Of course, the size is about all they have in common since, this is a 16mm full mechanical mod with a smaller version of the (original) DID on it. I thought I'd share this one since it seems rather unknown/overlooked.

If you have to suit up a bit, remain low key yet classy, need a light setup to slide into you inside pen pocket w/o dismantling you jacket AND you want the full power and versatility of a high end genny on mechanical mod...look no further.

Everything that has been said about the DID remains true with the temon (atty). Craftsmanship, performance, precision, everything is there. Although,I personally think the temon is a greater achievement for different reasons.
First of all, I'm not sure how, but the maker managed to fit in a 3.4mm wick hole in there. Huge wick hole. You can still slide in a full 1/8" ceramic wick (for those on ceramic) and keep a great air flow (the wick in the pic is even slightly bigger than a 1/8th).

The second reason would be the combination of that wick hole with a chamber size that seems to be optimal on all levels. You can deploy an 18watts easy, great amount of vapor; but the taste is just... no words for it.

Third, this combo is an hybrid even if it doesn't have the standard "hybrid connection", it is now sold as an item and looking at it, one may understand why. Not having an hybrid connection means you're not limited by it and you can check your setup on provary for instance and put the atty back on the mod.

Last but not least, this is a finished project from MMvapor and I mean absolutely no disrespect! I only wish the exact same mod (20mm version) had seen the light to compliment the DID. It never DID. There are lots of Poldiac fans out there which is considered to be one of the best 22mm mod, and I'm glad for them :( On a personal level, I like the sober and classy lines of the temon and I very much appreciate the fact that its a complete integrated PV.

So to sum it up, the Temon is an outstanding complete PV. In terms of looks and performance, it has nothing to envy an AC9 mounted on a Caravela with the difference that it is portable, low key, classy and costs half the combo.

Hope this helps make ppl aware of this amazing piece of gear :)

Impossible to get one though. I have been dying to get my hands on a mechanical 14500 and I'm on the verge of making my own. Don't really want to go the classified route as I would rather buy new, but good lord these mods are hard to find.

14650 batteries are 950mAh. Two would last me an entire day. I spent some time today searching for a suitable mod for carrying out-and-about, with maybe a IGO-S mounted, as a small carry device. I had little luck as well.

It seems there would be more of a market for a Ego-sized full-mechanical mod given that the batteries are nearly the mAh of an 18490...

If you look in the clearance items now you can pick up the mod (brush finished model with brass cap 14500 or 14650) and buy the atty separately (or wait till it is available in clearance as well).

This part scares me: "That product didn't pass our quality check.
It might have a scratch, bad engraved or even not engraved at all."

Kind of rough for $77 + shipping.

Are there any other 14650 mods out there?

I'm sure there would be a market for just the mod... I personally got the mod alone before the atty.
The market? it's simply moddders that can't afford to be too eccentric or draw too much attention in certain places. There are lots of us in that category. I still remember the day I showed up at work with a provari lol
So I got myself an ego twist to try to boost 1.8ohm on my mini DID.. (you can't go lower on an ego!) that was not the blast but ppl understand the ego size concept. You simply get a "oh is that an electronic cigarette?" that you can address with just a "yes" and a smile and get on with whatever the conversation was.

About the availability, as far as I can remember MMvapors were never out of stock but since "readily available" kind of has become the antonym for "en vogue" I suspect there was a switch somewhere...

that's about the price I bought the mod alone. Maybe you could just drop them a word on their contact form and ask for a new one...

You got Titanide and Precise + doing the 14xxx.. they are a lot more expensive though...
Also the Cube mini but its taller and almost as thick as a 18500 Caravella. No real gain.

whew just got one of the last few satin 18650's in stock... I had an 18500 in the cart, next thing I know its gone and I ended up getting the 18650 which will be just fantastic... dont even care about a cosmetic issue if it works like everyone talks about...

Sad I can't buy one since it's already unlisted on mm. Was looking forward to it when I saw a review on it, hopefully a new run will be made I'm tired of this limited run stuff mod builders are doing.

They still have blemished 14650s in satin finish with brass cap/switch. They're in the 'clearance' section.

My satin 14500 'blemished' is almost perfect. It has three absolutely tiny marks on the stainless tube that can only be seen in certain light at a certain angle, and they already seem to be wearing away. Very hard to spot. Otherwise it's perfect with name/logo/serial# engravings.
