just a thought scott, i was wondering if, rather than take the plastic cart down to paper thin ,heat the metal mouth piece up to the point where it expands, maybe put it in boiling water, or heat it over a gas flame before you take the paint off, have the plastic cart machined down slightly but not as much as you did, then holding the hot metal with pliers, push it over the plastic.I guess if it was hot enough it would soften the plastic to make it easier to insert aswell,,,,just a though!!!

hi mate,

i did try something similar to what you suggested but failed badly! lol

the cart really does need to be that thin as otherwise you cant fit it onto the atomiser. because the cart and mouthpiece tube have the exact same dimensions, when you put one inside the other without reducing it then it makes the cart become a lot smaller and it wont fit at all.

Great video....The only thing i've changed is that instead of the dead battery tube i used a dead 901 atomizer (the evo catrige fits perfect inside 901's atomizer after removing the 901's "contents")
This is the result :

Thanks again for the inspiration:):):)

Just an idea to polish the atomizer -- instead of having to do it in short bursts because the motion turns the switch on, why not use that dead battery that you chop up to make the mouthpiece? That way there will be no juice in it (you could pull all the guts save for the screw piece first) and then get the atomizer and the mouthpiece done in one go!

Definitely trying this with one of my black 401s... Also, couldn't you do this with a 901 as well? I know they sell em already, but I'm cheap and would prefer that to the black and white ones I have now.
