My wife was awesome and got me this beautiful ss and brass clone. Thing is it has a metallic taste. I boiled it last night but still today it has it. What can I do to get rid of the taste?

Sorry doing this from a phone is no good. It is some kind of Grand vapor atomizer clone.
I had to use a vinegar water mix to get that taste out of one of my drip tips.

the trident clone I bet, several people have reported a metal taste when its new. I soaked mine in soapy water. then after the second or 3rd fill it went away. probably machinig oil soaked into the metal.
are you building your own wicks out of ss mesh?
so far I haven't been able to make a successful traditional coil, I get a metallic taste too, but a micro coil is easy to get a good vape.

Ok thanks all good ideas. I boiled it last night and it is a little better. Will try all the advice one is bound to work. Lol
