Thought this might be the best place for my question...

I have local a B&M that sources their juice from a separate supplier. They then mix onsite to produce the final mg/ml ordered. They've told me that this is done by blending from 2 bottles of the same flavor, 1 bottle of 24mg/ml and another bottle of 0 mg/ml, in varying proportions to achieve the 6, 12 or 18 mg/ml strengths.

Does this sound reasonable?

It sounds like there mixing different strength premixed juices to arrive at a final mg/ltr. Although this will work most DYI'ers will first mix a base (PG/VG/NIC) to there desired strength then add flavor to the base. DYI'ers may start with a 100mg, 60mg 36mg nic solution and dilute it with PG, VG or both to get to there desired strength taking into account the flavor percentage to be added.

Sounds plausible to me. If they mixed equal parts of 24mg/ml with 0mg/ml they would have 12mg/ml. Sounds like they only want to order 2 strengths and be able to mix them to come up with a few in between. I've heard that's the same way some gas stations that offer 5 different octanes do it as well. They order the highest and lowest and the pump mixes them to come up with in between octanes.

As Danny said, that's not the way I would do it, but I can see a store doing that to premade juice so they don't have to order it in so many strengths. :toast:

Cheers,
Steve
