I am in the process of watching the memorial. I was so wrong about it. It was a very moving. Very well done.

As a side note, it was estimated that over a billion people watched this event. Far eclipsing the lunar landing of Apollo 11.

Not a bad exit from a supposed "pedophile". To be honest, after watching some of his charity videos on YouTube, I do not believe that this guy would have or could have sexually assaulted any kid. As a parent who raised two sons on my own because their own mother sexually abused them, I can pretty much state this with some experience in the matter. I had to take courses via court order on parenting and non-offending parent sexual assault classes. BEST EDUCATION I TOOK, EVER! Not only am I a more street wise person to recognize the signs of sexual abuse, but my education actually made me catch on to a girl who was really being sexually abused by her own brother! It took some digging, but I got enough information together to get her the help she truly needed.

During the courses though, I learned of a darker side to it. Using "sexual abuse" in cases of divorce or financial gains for leverage. "Sexual abuse" charges are tough to beat, regardless of wether they are true or false. Being a pedophile carries a stigma that will haunt you even if the charges turn out to be totally false. That is how society, media, and the government grooms the population. Shoot first and ask questions later. Jacksons cases were smacking of that "darker side" that we see that the media ate up like vultures.

He was just an easy pickings target for a free million dollar check. That's all it was. ("Oh Johnny, just say he touched your wee-wee and we'll be set for life") Typical scumbags who used their kids and "child molestation" charges for financial gain. Jackson would be the last person on Earth to go to Hell.

(Hey kiddies, mad at your parents? Want to get revenge? Just say they touched your wee-wee to any school teacher or councel.)

That's my two cents to it.

(BTW - Prosecutors would not let child molestation charges go if formal charges are filed, even if the alleged suspect gave a billion dollars to clam them up and the parents dropped the charges. They would not drop the case anymore than dropping murder charges. Jackson was blackmailed)

I don't know if he was guilty or not. Our criminal justice system said he was not. Someone could accuse you of being a child molester tomorrow. Should we beat you daily because of an unproven accusation?

When my son was sick, I let him sleep in the same bed as me. Sometimes they were scared about something and I let him slide into bed with me for comfort. That didn't compel me to sexually assault them.

My dog even sleeps in my bed. Does that compel me to give him a blow job? Hardly.

Well then maybe you should have taken the same courses I did when it comes to child molestation. I lived through it because of my sons being abused by their own mother and I had to take the courses by court order. It opened my eyes.
