When I moved over from carto tanks to genesis style about 6 months ago, I thought I was set with stainless steel mesh, ceramic stone, wire, etc... but still going back to vivi nova and carto sometimes.....but just tried micro coil with cotton.... wow.. I just newly discovered new genre...

Pictures is one with AC9 already being used and ZAP before using Boba with micro coil with cotton.... vaping Boba now and...wow.. if you have not tried it, try the micro coil at around 1.8 - 2.0 ohm with cotton wick..

here's my build on an i-atty

12 wraps of 28 kanthal, 1.6 ohms wrapped around a 1/16th bit and some organic cotton ball. Gonna try a u-wick design with a horizontal coil next. Excellent vapor and flavor.

Ever since I discovered micro coils, I will not go back to using anything else. So Much easier to build, and none of the fuss that comes with spacing coils on mesh. I have never gotten a hot spot with micro coils.

Yep.. I'm using 28 kanthal with 12 wraps. Organic cotton ball that was boiled and dried (not sure if needed though). What I have notice so far is that for thicker juice (like boba's bounty or VG based juice), make the wick that goes into the tank shorter and make it very loose.. and tilt to wet the wick time to time. it won't really "wick" per se... feels like dripping.

I've used both setups on my AGA-T2 and it gives huge clouds and great flavor. The greatest advantage is that you can change you wick with each tank fill. I've been using the same coil for over a week now and it performs great. I'm starting to miss wrapping coils and will probably change it tonight because I haven't done it in a while.
