Micro coils and ohms description

This is for my VVGrand using a RM2. I vaped it for a while then thought I should take a pic, too. The cotton on the right is covering the leg of the coil. Also the pic doesn't show, but it's sitting a bit higher than the lip of the atty base.

This is the highest ohm I've wrapped for my VV and I love this particular coil. Great flavor, plumes of vapor, just perfect.

hey awkward. I usually use 26G Nicrhome and get .8Ω with 12 wraps around a 1/16" bit... Weird that youre only getting .5Ω

It has to be higher than .5Ω. For how long it takes to heat up, and the sheer size of it, I would guess it is actually around 1-1.2Ω. The only other thing I can think of is the fact that it is very close to the posts so it doesn't have long legs like my 10-12 wrap coils do. Either way, it is working alright but tonight after my date night with the wifey, I am going to re-do it. Maybe try one of those fancy Pdib dual coils with my 28 gauge Kanthal.

I prefer a fairly cool vape, and I'm dialing in for flavor, obviously. But the dial is middle-ish. I have some fruity coconut stuff in it right now. I tried it all the way up and didn't care for how it changed the flavor.

Thanks for posting this for newbies just trying to get it right, ya know , with our unknowledgeable hands. So far so good. I can't complain and I am the one vaping it. I use the Supe X way
