Microcoil without torch.

Just bored and figured Id share the way I make micro coils. Haven't heard about this anywhere but I'm sure I'm not the only one. Basically I just heat the coil red hot and the instant I release the fire button I compress it with tweezers, perfect micro coil every time while saving time.. you probably wouldn't want to do this WHILE holding the button obviously, could be possibly dangerous, shorts can happen, whatever... don't do this unless you are already used to building micro coils.

Hmm, this is actually how I've been doing it since I got into doing coils (nano and micro). I've never understood torching it when its easier to pulse and adjust

lol, figured everyone else was doing it. I never hear about this in any of the videos I watch or stuff I read.

You can use your gas stove too if you are doing a coil for a protank head and don't want to risk burning the rubber insulator. It's not as hot as a butane torch so you have to keep the pliers off of it to get it hot then pinch down on it. Kind of a juggling act over top the gas flame

I've been pulsing and pinching the last few times, myself. I do take a bic to it before I wrap, though. I think it makes it easier.

This is what I do too. The initial heating makes it a bit stiffer, less springy for slightly easier wrapping. Whatever works ...

Yup. I heat the wirel before rolling the coil as it helps hold the coil tight. then put it in the atty and fire red hot and pinch it with tweezers. I actually do hold the coil with the tweezers while firing it, just make sure not to let it ground out. Feed the cotton, silica, or ekowool through and walla!!!!!!

Yeah, my first coil was a slinky cuz I didn't heat it first. Funny looking as it was, it vaped.

I do a pulse and pinch as needed. Have the torch so I use it. I feel it is easier to set a perfect coil than set a coil and try making it perfect. does not take any longer either way.
