So after a long long time (about 30 seconds) of consideration, I decided I want to try building a microcoil set up. I know the basics and how to do it, but one thing that I don't know is what diameter drill bit should I use to wrap my coils around.

I'm thinking either 3/32, 7/64, or 1/8...

Could someone help, because I honestly don't know if any of those are even the right sizes

bits.jpgahhhhh! Help!!

Diameter is a function of what device you are building for and what type/size wick is needed. If you build a 1/16th wick and coil and then try to use it in a device that needs a 1/8th you are going to leak like crazy. On the other hand if you build 1/8 and the device needs 1/16 you are going to dry hit. There are a few devices that are not diameter dependent and in those a "micro" is usually 1/16th.
