microcoil success!

I finally got all my stuff to start building microcoils for the protank heads I used 30g kanthal 7 wraps around a 5/64 drill bit gave me about 1.6 ohms resistance according to my mvp. I got it on my third try my first two shorted out on me but third times a charm the flavor and vapor are awsome so thank you guys here at ecf who answered all my questions pertaining to this.

What wicking material are you using? Did you torch the coil?

I am using organic cotton and yes I torched it between a pair of tweezers for a few seconds

Right on. I am just waiting for my torch to get so I can give it a go. I am targeting the same build as you did. Maybe 1.8-2.0 ohms.

1.6 is a little low for me too I think one or two more wraps would be golden ill just wait till this set up goes out and ill build a higher res coil its fun stuff
