Is there one out or in the pipeline? Seriously, the microstick is pretty much the best mod I have seen IMO. I have a nemesis clone with a smok tank on top....18350 mode, so I like the smaller mods....I dont want to carry around a 9" baton all day. Would love to buy a real one, but paying $100+ for a mod seems ridiculous. I'm a clone guy...meh. I have seen the madvapes gripper (dont want to use a carto) and the R80 foldable pipe mod at my local vape shop (pretty good, just not pretty enough for me).

Thanks in advance.

I haven't seen any TBH......I have an authentic Microstick and I run it with a GP Spheroid. I don't think it's possible to get a better vape at that size! The Spheroid works EXCELLENT with the Microstick.....

If you can scrape together the $$ I would highly recommend picking one up...it will be money well-spent, trust me!! :)

I've had a Smoktech Gripper for over a year. I basically only use it for stealth vaping at the cinema.

Can't beat the low price of only $9. But don't let that low-ball price fool you. This is a durable and well functioning unit. Used in its low profile mode it uses a 45mm (XL) un-punched cartomizer which connects inside the mod. If you wish to use a clearo, cartotank, or 510 drip atomizer with it be sure to get the Gripper Extender for $4 more. I use either a 510 drip atomizer or an IBTanked tiny cartotank on mine. Uses an 18350 button-top IMR battery. Find the Gripper at Mad Vapes.

I have one of those while I wait for my Microstick. I've already got the Spheroid and really like how it vapes. The Gripper is ok for what is is. It's not the best vape ever, but does allow for some stealthy and cheap vaping. It also works with flat tops. That's what I've been using. I did get the extender, but haven't used it with anything. It would likely improve the vape, but then you give up the stealth.

For the price, it's worth picking one up and see if it gets you by. I wouldn't use it other than when it's my only real option.

Welcome!

For the price, I had to try it out. It fits great in a pocket and while a carto could leak, it would leak into the body and not your pocket. You could clean it out with a q tip. I think the big warning with these is NOT to over tighten the carto or you'll break it. They are essentially disposable. If you strip it, you just buy another.

Here's a question for the carto users then. I currently use and have only ever used Bottom Coil setups. I know that a 1.8ohm coil and last 3 days or as long as 3 weeks. Usually for me they last about a week(ish). So, how long would a cartomizer last a guy like me? I'd also like to know the answer to this because I am thinking of getting an IBTanked Halfling to thro on top of my nemesis clone and make it TINY!

Thanks, T

3 minutes to 3 weeks.

No... really.

Hit a bad one, or don't prime it well, it's done. Once it's burned, it's gone. No bringing it back. No dry burning, no washing.

Hit a good one and keep it wet, 3 weeks. But 4 or 5 days is more realistic.

I might add, IMHO, any carto is going to have more flavor and be more consistant than any clearomizer.

Just based on the volume/surface area of the wicks comparatively. Clearomizers use only tiny specks of silica as the wick. Cartomizers however are completely full of wick material.

I'm not saying that cartotanks are fool-proof or the best thing since fresh apple pie, but speaking in generalities a cartotank will blow a clearomizer away when you judge both on flavor and consistancy.
