Hey guys, looking for a midrange device for my friend, don't want to spend more than 150, want it to have some color other than silver, not Provari, vv and vw, full range of battery support, and be a solid device that has been positively reviewed by several well know reviewers, ie pbusardo, vaping Greek, rip tripper, etc etc

Ready? Go!

There's too many (And I'm sure you'll hear about every one of them :D). But I will never buy another Sigelei product as long as I vape.

Sorry - not meant to hijack but...............

I just picked up a Sigelei 20W and LOVE it (although it is brushed SS). Curious as to what your experience was?

...Oh, and I don't want it to last longer than the batteries I put into it......

None of the devices listed so far have a proven life span of much over a year.

The only two devices that actually will give you a 1 year warranty so that you can guarantee it lasts at least a year are as follows:

Lavatube V2.5: The most advanced variable voltage electronic cigarette

Spire by Beyond Vape: Advanced E-Cigs & Mods : Beyond Vape, premium vaporizers and e-cigarettes

Of course by rejecting a brand new ProVari at $159.00 off hand, I think your friend is being penny wise and pound foolish, but it's his money.

At least the two above can be replaced if something happens to them in the first year. After that, neither of them has any post warranty support, but those are better than any of the others that have been mentioned by a long shot.

It's one thing to compare a Provari with a tube in the 40 buck range. Another thing all together to compare it to one at $150? The jump by that time is so small you are going to reject ProVari's proven track record for 9 bucks?

Whatever keeps your friend off the stinkies...

Isn't the spire one you tilt to adjust?

No, it is a US "spec'd" Sigelei Zmax V3. It has a metal button (although the latest v3's have a metal button as well, but trying to find one is hit or miss.)

It is supposedly "designed" in the US and manufactured for Beyond Vape. What you are paying for here is the warranty. One would hope that the additional price also includes some better quality internals than a standard Zmax V3.

The "tilt" one is the Segelei "Legend" and the Sigelei "20W".

I guess you didn't read to OP's post very carefully.
don't want to spend more than 150, want it to have some color other than silver, not Provari, vv and vw, full range of battery support

To get a Provari with a full range of battery support and a color other than silver,
$179.95 ProVari Mini with color
+ $19.95 Extension End Cap
+ $14.99 extension tube
--------
$214.85 Not even close to $150. Not to mention batteries and charger if they don't have them already.

Provari doesn't have VW which the OP asked for. The OP made a point to state they didn't want a Provari. Yet you ignored pretty much everything the OP wanted (and didn't want) and basically said, "Just get a Provari".

Did you actually read the first post in this thread?

really like the Lava Tube 2.5, almost pulled the trigger...the only thing about it i disliked was the 28mm diameter tube everything else seems perfect imo......uniformed Toppers would be very limited & maxed at about 25mm w/the IB Tank just coming close....unless someone else knows of some larger diameter Toppers available thru American Vendors.......also like the SX200 chip & the Evic, N--egg has the Evic kit for under 80 bucks.....

Tube VV/VW's i own the are - SVD, SID & like them both so far both have preformed very well.
