Good day, all. I am awaiting the arrival of my innokin VV 3s. The Clearos I bought are the Aspire BDCs, based on PBusardo's review. They are 1.8 Ohms. I am going to purchase some Pyrex toppers like the Protank as I have a lot of cinnamon juice, and some VERY strong menthol. The question is: if I have a VW device and use it in VW mode (which I intend to), does it matter what the Ohm rating is of any particular topper I use? I mean the vv will adjust the voltage to produce a constant amount of power, regardless of the ohm rating of the topper used (the obvious benefit of VW, seemingly), so does it really matter (other than staying away from sub-ohms)?

I find that if the cart is 1.5, to 2.5 it really will be pretty much the same taste if the same juice on VW mode. It is really a matter of personal tastes as to how hot one likes his vapor and in my case I prefer it cooler than hot. If you like it hotter turn it up. I also almost exclusively use Aspire cartomizers and tanks with BDC heads with a few exceptions. I much prefer VW to VV though so not impartial I guess.

The VW setting will adjust the voltage so that you'll have your set wattage no matter what ohm your topper is. The ohms matter a bit though. If too high you might not reach maximum wattage due to hitting the voltage limit, and if too low the device's protection will not let it fire the coil.
