So I got some glycerin (VG) from starwest botanical. Got some sky vodka 80 Proof. Got some lorann flavorings. But I cannot seem to get any Throat Hit whatsoever.
I tried different mixtures and cannot make it work. I even did 50/50 VG to Vodka and still no throat hit.
Is it going to take nic juice to produce that throat hit.
Any advice before I give up??
50/50 vodka to VG is going to be too thin. When I was using vodka to thin a DIY VG juice I used 10% by volume of the juice. PGA gives more TH.
And while vodka can give a bit of a TH, nic is really required. So what was the nic level? If it was zero, try including nic, as that is really all we should be having in juices to make TH, IMHO. TH is, after all,
throat irritation.
My juices are now VG-based, generally 12 mg or less, 20% distilled water, and as long as the cart and atty are operating properly, I get a very nice TH from nic. Some do use PG for TH, but PG irritates me too much. One persons nice PG TH is another's raw mouth and throat. And some flavors irritate more than others, so will produce TH. I have a few that do that, or else they just make me cough. I made a 22 mg VG juice unflavored that
really says hello, no alcohol at all in it. Just nic, VG and dist water.
Analogs, BTW, produce almost no TH, at least my Winston Lights don't. And even good juices will taper off with TH after a couple hits. The throat get acclimated.
