Hello =)

I made a post in the veteran forums a few hours ago and it hasn't shown up yet, so I continued researching myself and am very interested in a ProVari.

I have 2 REOs already, and was looking for something to keep my high strength nic juice in for when I need a hit of something stronger. After reading up more on a ProVari, I might switch one of my REOs to that, and use the ProVari along with my REO for a bit of change up during the day.

Since I'm a bit of a newbie to anything except REO's hopefully some of you can guide me through my order, or tell me if you think the ProVari would be a good fit for what I like.

Here's what I already own:
AW 14500 batteries
AW 18650 batteries
Pila Charger
Cisco 510 atomizers (ranging from 1.5-2.0)
Pyrex 510 drip tips.

How much of that can I use on the Provari? What else would I need?

I would like a tank for the provari. One of the big selling points of the REO was the ease of changing the bottle once a day. What is the best/most reliable/doesn't leak tank I could start off with? I was leaning towards a Vapemate, but it looks like it could get very messy.

Still new to this; however, got a provari in the mail, hope to have it tomorrow.

In any event, here's an answer based on what I researched thus far. Hopefully somone who knows from first hand experience can confirm or add to this info.

The following from your list will work:

AW 18650 batteries - upgraded battery that Provape sells with the unit, perfect match, requries extender cap.
Pila Charger - great charger
Cisco 510 atomizers (ranging from 1.5-2.0) - see note below
Pyrex 510 drip tips.

There are caveats. The 18650 will require you order the extender cap. The attys you have, the 2.0 will work well, the 1.5 will work, but is not recommended. The Provari had the ability to overdrive it -- well, it will actually stop before it does that. 3.0 ohm loads will give you the most flexibility.

As for the following:

AW 14500 batteries, I'm not sure this will work, but there are posts of users using it. Does not require an extender cap to use.

Yay mine came today too black chrome so pretty and it shipped really fast, I cheaped out and didn't buy the extender cap because I had the aw IMR 14500s left over from my first provari that don't get used anymore and I must say I've been vaping pretty much non stop on it sinse 1pm and the battery is still going strong its at
3.6v over 12 hours later, nice. I love my provari's

As for tanks, check out Phiniac. They are made of glass so no issues of degradation. If that's too over the top for you, bigdaddyvapor has a new offering called who's your daddy that is also supposed to fix issues with juice/tank interactions.

I was going to grab the BDV tank till I ran into Phiniac. Concept seemed to be too much of a no brainer, and so I ordered.

Hope this info helped. Here's a link to a great review that was posted yesterday. It goes into testing different ohm loads and how the Provari reacts.

Good luck.

I ordered 50 (10 packs) of Boge stainless steel carts from High Desert ecigs. Took me a while to find a supplier that had stainless in stock. Price is reasonable too. While I was at it, picked up a pack of 10 bridgeless attys. The link below is to the 3.2 ohm carts.

The two I ordered are standard size tanks, so had to use a standard 510 carto. Once I find a larger carto I like, I'll probably order one of the larger tanks.
