Just finished a biography of this incredible musician and painter. Chris Wood. Dan Ropek wrote it, it's called Tragic Magic. If you love true artists with a soul that lives in the music and art, please read it. I'm a voracious reader and yet I've never had a book impact me like this one. Has left me sad, happy, hopeful, inspired. And more. Haven't been able to get this bio off my mind for two weeks. What hurts is that the musical world barely noticed his passing, in 1983. He deserved much more than that. Traffic, the band (who were more than incredible), would not have have come into being without him. He was truly an ultimate artist.

He's playing sax and flute on this track. God, I miss his music...
