We have an appointment on the 13th with the Doctor. They said Mike will have to have a Cast??? made for the radiation. So that's yet another apointment. Then...sometime in the near future they will begin the radiation. I just hope the cancer hasn't spread by that time! I am still mad, if you can't tell.
The only good news is that his liver levels are back to normal since they took him off the mega doses of Tyanol. But he is in mega pain.

Hard to understand why it is taking so long for them to do something. I try to tell myself that "if it hadn't been meant to have happened this way it wouldn't have", but is still hard to accept. Glad his liver levels are back to normal. Pray they can find something for his pain that doesn't throw havoc with something else. We don't realize what a great mechanism the body is until something goes out of whack and nothing is ever the same again. You take care of yourself. The caregiver's have it harder then the person going through it.

This is the Military it works at the speed of snail! He has a pain management appt. tomorrow. He will raise the roof about his meds. We are still waiting to hear about his 100% disabilty. They said it could take 4 months. I want him to get a a scooter style wheel chair as soon as it goes thru. We can't always be assured a store or the V.A. will have one availible. He doesn't need it for the house. Now I have to figure out how to carry it in the truck.

Omg! They are taking their sweet time! I hope everything goes more smoothly! Keyz hows things today I have yet to look back on the thread a page. I take it still confusion.

Well I have another to add to the thread, my Gary called and left me a message he is South Carolina bound. His dad is in the hospital, he didn't give details, but dad has to go to a rehab center. When he says he's sorry and I love ya in a phone message I KNOW something is wrong! Dork refuses to have a cell phone so I can't just call him, he's on the road & has to call me when he gets there. Mind you he does not use the L-O-V-E word to often, he shows it but has maybe said it 6 or so times in 2.5 years. Weirdo, but I love him w/ all my heart and I am a bit worried, about his dad. They have never met me. I hope dad holds on so I get to meet him, I plan on marrying this fellow some day. Hope 3rd time is a charm. Anyways I pray dad will be ok and my Gary comes back safe and sound before my graduation ceremonies the 14th & the 19th. If not I think my not having him here for graduation#1 is just fine, you gotta take care of your folks and family 1st I have always stressed that.

We are doing good today,I lowered the pain meds and split the clonazepam into two 1/2 dosages and the confusion is much better.MUCH.I think it will be a really good day today.

Great news, I'm so glad.

Selena, I hope his father is OK. My hubby and I have been married for 20 years, but still if he isn't here with me I don't sleep at night. So I can understand what you're saying, it's not easy, but it's probably one of the reasons you love him so much.
