We are doing good today,I lowered the pain meds and split the clonazepam into two 1/2 dosages and the confusion is much better.MUCH.I think it will be a really good day today.
Keyz glad to see his confusion is better sometimes narcs and other Meds just don't get along well and need adjustments.

Safira- yeah the 1st time he went away to see his parents, I was a basket case. Then to add to things I was still getting used to his general statements... Let's just say I made to the beach also ment he took a week to himself and went to New Orleans. I only figured out hes was there b/c the area code was diferent so i looked it up. We almost broke up over that. I lost 10 lbs & was a mess till he got home. This last time he went and this morning he has learned to call when he gets there so I don't freak the heck out. Yeah maybe I do love the man. I never felt so hurt by some miscommunication in my life, it took me 4 to 6 months to really trust him again.

Until the doc says ok... They are to prevent veinous pooling in his legs where a clot can form. Clot that stays there = deep vein thrombosis (not good) or the clot could break off & lodge somewhere else like lungs or brain, both are not good. Also the pain would be worse w/o the stockings they kinda support the area and can make it feel better.

Ok just got off the phone w/ Gary, Dad fell & broke his wrist. Of course what was he doing with his nephew when he called? vaping... Anyways dad needs rehab has been in the hospital for a few days gonna go to a nursing facility. I told him how important it is to stress to dad to call for help, he don't need a broken hip and not get to come home at all. I work in a nursing home I know how this all works now I really wanna be there to make sure the facility he goes to will be a good one.

Oh Selena, I'm kind of glad that's all it is. It seems as we get older we don't want to admit when we need a little help. My father broke his hip last year, and just this year my mother broke the heel of her foot. Both of the accidents happened because they didn't want to bother anyone to help them, they thought they could do it all by themselves. When I'm in my 70's please remind me that I have no buisness climbing a ladder, that's what my kids are for.

I hope his father will be OK, and everything heals quickly. Breaks as we get older don't heal like they did when we were kids.

Selena..That's a good thing! The more passive they are the less they heal..My mom "enjoyed" poor health, she loved playing the southern belle! I on the other hand fight and kick and am a royal pain! I heal fast and Walk all over the place..I am always out in record time. The nurses and Dr.s hate me..but I am Gone

You must be furious! Isn't this the type of thing that is covered by the family leave act?
